Wow, a guitar built with Redwood. I never saw one. I would love to learn how such a nice large piece was obtained to build a guitar. I saw the redwoods on a family roadtrip. It's obviously very difficult, scarce wood to source for many reasons as a protected species. It's even illegal to pick up dead pieces from the ground in state/federal parks because those dead limbs on the ground contribute the the ecosystem. I'm sure it costs plenty if you can get your hands on some being legally complicated to obtain.
