13:40 I have no clue how arachnids exist. They have what's called an open circulatory system, this means their "blood" doesn't move strictly within a closed set of vessels like ours does. Their hearts just kinda drip body fluid into other parts of the arachnid, and it seeps back into the heart through slits on the heart itself. And that's how sort of how they move! It's called arachnid locomotion. They squeeze this body fluid into their legs to extend them and take a step, then they squeeze their little arachnid muscles to pull the leg back, which propels them forward, moving the 1st and 3rd legs on one side of the body, and the 2nd and 4th on the other near simultaneously. Leg coordination varies between status of the arachnid and species. Fascinating stuff!

Spore taught me to type. My sister and I were given 30 minutes of spore if we did 30 minutes of a typing lesson. My parents hated it so much it was the only way we were allowed to play it. It's a terrible game, I love it so much.

Spore is available on Steam, the online servers even still work (barely) but the game can also be played completely offline. It's never too late!

As someone who has streamed spore before, I know exactly why it happens For whatever reason Spore, when using game capture, displays itself loading every texture, but only to the game capture itself The fix is to just capture the window/screen. but it is a very funny visual bugge

Spore has the best part of the game first, then a wild animal open-world, then the worst part of the game, then Dune Spice Wars, and then Star Trek: The Next Generation for like 40 hours before you get bored and make a new creature. What's not to love?

I fell asleep while listening to this and had the weirdest nightmare about hiding from big cricket/spider people and squirrels in mechs made of pickup trucks. It was like a multiplayer party game too except every other person was a featureless murmuring low-polygon model i watched a lot of people get fed to the monsters and then i got caught and woke up

i love every video and every wiki that says that pirated spore has an overwhelming amount of glitches because meanwhile the licensed version needs a photosensitivity warning and (as i have experienced) allows you to eat living creatures without killing them. i love playing the game just to find these goofy ass glitches, ive completed it like 50 times already.

This made me miss Spore. A shame we never got a sequel, or a good spiritual successor. This concept could be expanded so much but I doubt the chance of that ever happening Edit: After looking into it there is actually a spiritual successor in development that seems to have actual passion behind it called Elysian Eclipse. If it'll ever get a full release I can't know, but finding that out has given me a little bit of hope

I'm glad he addressed the jr. bacon cheeseburger thing. I seriously thought I was losing my mind. They are literally ALWAYS cold. The bun feels like it was just taken from the fridge
