Thanks man! I just got back from Nashville and trust me there are many incredible players out there... Unluckily the industry has changed so there's no much space for them to show how good they are. Re my origin... I'm Italian but I live in London so my accent is probably messed up!

Excellent instructional video. Good job breaking it down part by part. Having said that... am I the only one that laughed when he started talking? Flawless country picking followed by a German accent instead of a southern accent. Totally unexpected, cracked me up.

Dont wait to get old to play this! It is so stinking hard to remember each section. I finally succeeded. Now lets see how much I remember tomorrow. I am sure I will have to go over it again. Ok it has been a month. Yes at least two hours a day. today it has been 4 hours on just the B and I already did it last night but forgot and had to learn all over again.. Now all I have to do is spend about two-three months more to get it right. Took me a week just to learn your accent. All is Great Thanks!

Dario, this lesson has been a lesson for me. I thought I knew how to play guitar, wrong. East Bound and Down has been a real challenge in the style of Jerry Reed. I lived in Nashville for 26 years and have been around Jerry, Chet and his pal Thom Bresh, but never tried to copy. Now I know why. Thanks, your the real deal, you have that magic touch. Jimmy P.

LOLLLLLL......there's another video lesson of same tune uploaded on Y-T and it breaks down the acoustic guitar rhythm and the dual guitar leads. It not only is intricate, tricky, bend-heavy but it was recorded at a break-neck pace or tempo.....No, it isn't for the beginner......sic

I agree, if you’re just learning guitar, this is gonna hurt. A lot. But if you are good with bending, hammer-on pull-offs, and feel confident in your pick, you can learn to play this with slowing it down, practice, and patience. It’s not rocket science, it’s just gym class.

I am playing on a strat right now but now I just gotta have a tele! (Strat works fine though) I have been playing guitar for 30+ years and have always loved country music, but have never tried to play it. When I ran across your videos, you made it look so easy that I had to try to play some of it and WOW!!! This type stuff is so fun to play and I realize that I am a better guitar player than I thought!! And getting better from playing this stuff. I have been in a playing rut for years and your videos have taken my playing to a whole new level and in a whole new direction!! I know this sounds like some kind of info-mercial testimonial, but I just had to send you a huge huge thank you!!!

Thank you Dario, I just started to learn to play guitar in January and this video was a great instruction video for me. I was able to follow you through it without too much trouble and I found this method easier than Tabs. I could just listen to your instruction and follow you along without needing to watch the video much. A great learning tool for me. I chose this song to challenge myself and of course I am a die hard Smokey and the Bandit fan. My seven year old daughter loves the song so I thought I would learn it for her. Thank you very much and I will be looking to learn more from your instruction method in the future.

On this day in 1977 {May 19th} the Universal Pictures movie "Smokey and the Bandit" had its world premier in New York City... Eight days later on May 27th it opened in theaters across the U.S.A. and Canada... The song "Easy Bound and Down" by co-star Jerry Reed was featured in the film; it peaked at #2 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart and also reached #2 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks chart... R.I.P. Mr. Reed {1937 - 2008} and co-star Jackie Gleason {1916 - 1987}...
