I really appreciate your no mess approach to using paint on clay. Also, thank you for going through all the polishing and polishing process. Most artists only use water sanding process then use resin. I don't always want that much shine. Thank you so much. Beautiful, especially after using wax then buffing. Perfect

I like the way you finished these. Turquoise has a luster finish typically but not a high gloss. Very well done.

These earrings are amazing! ❤️ I've seen this technique done with paint and liquid clay. Do you have a preference of one over the other?
@JessamaTutorials
@JessamaTutorials 3 жыл бұрын
I prefer paint as it dries, while liquid clay remains stick until it is baked.

Loved your video. Had a problem when I tried it. I used the same paint you did but it won’t dry. It’s been drying for 36 hours and still wet on outside. What did I do wrong?

Hi, I'm really loving your tutorials. When I've looked up this method with others, they seal with a veneer. have you found the acrylic rubbing off over time?
@JessamaTutorials
@JessamaTutorials 2 жыл бұрын
No. The acrylic is baked into the clay and anything that would rub off what sanded off.

Samantha thank you for this, Is it necesaary to sand the surface of the beads? And in the sanding part, is water really needed until the last grit? Thank you
@JessamaTutorials
@JessamaTutorials 3 жыл бұрын
It's not absolutely necessary, but it does provide a more professional finish. Also sanding with water means that dust particles don't fly into the air. It's just safer that way.
