pregnancy is HARD! probably one of the hardest things i've had to get through! i totally get it pregnancy being hard for you. i too wish i could have been one of the ones that just LOVED being pregnant but i can safely say although i did not love being pregnant i LOVE being a mom to my daughter. she is the best thing that has ever happened to me and in many ways, saved me.

definitely recommend making a cup of tea with jess while watching this video :,) it felt like sitting down to have a conversation with a good friend

I felt like I was pregnant forever especially the last trimester but I do miss the feeling of being pregnant. So really soak it all up 💗💗💗

Listening to this brought back so many memories from my pregnancy. The back pain, the trouble sleeping, the dizziness, the sweetness of the kicks. Even the feeling of not knowing what to wear/feeling like everything didn’t look quite right. To be honest it felt like the second half of my third trimester went so slowly because everyday I was waiting and wondering when labor would happen. I ended up giving birth on my due date and wish I had just enjoyed it more at the very end. I was the same, I never loved pregnancy but right before my son was born I had this mini panic attack thinking of not being pregnant anymore and I look back now and miss it which I NEVER thought I’d say. I hope you’re able to enjoy the rest of your time having your little girl with you 24/7. It truly is such a special thing and now even when my baby is in the next room I miss him!

I’m 30 weeks and maternity clothes were an absolute game changer for me. Everything is made to accentuate the belly which I find to be more flattering/comfortable these days. I tried to avoid them too but my mom bought me a few things and they were so cozy I had to get more!

Tip from now (3rd trimester), put a waterproof protector on your bed and carseat (and possibly the couch too) - I found my daughter would kick my bladder and I'd suddenly pee a little, I was worried my waters would break or when laying down my boobs used to leak a little and you particularly want to protect your mattress. When you fly to Australia, I hope you're flying business or 1st class, so you have more space to move around or lay down etc. I found braxton hicks could be a bit painful. I got lots of leg cramps, stitches etc and my OB told me to ensure I drink lots to reduce cramps

Pregnancy is a roller coaster. I have experienced so much confidence in my body but have also bawled getting ready for date night because I felt enormous. One thing I would recommend going into your last trimester is going to Lush and getting a lotion bar! It’s so nice as you really start getting itchy from all the growing to run the lotion bar all over the belly! Then you’re nice and moisturized after!

It's so nice hearing the experience of pregnancy even though I'm years away from being pregnant myself, still sounds magical. Oh also, just to pin point that if you guys are going to order take out food and eat it at your home, please spare the plastic utensils. The less plastic we use the better

For back pain, invest in a belly support band. It helps relieve the downward pull of the belly that causes the back pain.

The brekkie, really does look good. In South Africa we don't have vegemite, but we do have marmite or even bovril, that I think is similar. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm the same with the tea tho 😹🙌🏼

It is common for pregnant women to feel hot. We have a higher body temperature when we are pregnant. It is also common for your skin to become itchy. I remember having a red itchy rash on my tummy and I scratched it everyday during my second trimester. I had to go to the chemist and get some soothing cream to rub onto my tummy because the itch was very annoying. I hope your back ache does not get any worse. Take good care of yourself. I hope you see this but whenever your bump feels itchy, massage oil or super moisturizing lotion bc the itching comes from stretching. I’m almost 16 weeks with my sweet baby boy! This is my second pregnancy, I haven’t truly enjoyed pregnancy either time.. with my daughter my back and hip pains were horrible! This time I’ve had horrible morning sickness, terrible night sweats(literally wake up drenched! Have to shower every single morning) and my round ligament pain has been really bad this time around probably since like 8 weeks… dr said all my muscles are stretching back out earlier than before since my body knows what to do this time and it’s the most uncomfortable. I’ll say for sure not everyone loves going through pregnancy! I’m so blessed to have had a healthy baby girl 2 1/2 years ago and I’m hoping to have a healthy baby boy this October! But pregnancy is not all butterflies and rainbows like some people make it out to be! Completely normal to not love it, it won’t make you love your baby any less!! So excited for you and Gabe to expierence parenthood! There’s nothing like loving the sweet baby that’s half you and half the love of your life, it’s a whole new level of love❤️❤️

British person here! yes we squeeze the teabag and then put it in the bin. Most people i know also do that. Some don’t squeeze if they don’t want the tea to be as strong

Hi, I’m British and currently living in Sydney for Bible college. Anyways, the correct way to make an English tea is to let it brew for 4 mins then you take the tea bag out without squeezing it. Squeezing it can ruin the flavour/ make it more bitter so hence why we brew it. Hope that helps. Always love watching your videos 🤍
