Wow, I agree with a lot of stuff Jim says, but dang it, I used to get yelled at for eating the cones with no ice cream as a kid, but Cornette didn't know cones were edible?!?

Well if I had dog shit on my hands and for some reason grabbed an ice cream cone without washing my hands first then, yes, I would probably throw out the cone. I'm not much for rules or best practices with ice cream. If the food can be credibly argued as dessert-related then I will gladly mix that with my ice cream.

I always LOVED cones, more than the ice cream itself, usually. All kinds of cones - the basic ones you could get at the store were OK and were a bit like unflavored wafer cookies. Those *waffle* cones that you had pay like an extra $0.25 for? Now those were dope as hell. And you always got a napkin with them, or could ask at the very least.

The ice cream cone is inferior to the cup, for a start you get a cone on a hot day you've got melted ice cream on your fingers and that's not fun. Second it tastes like edible cardboard, not the worst cardboard but not good enough to warrant its use. Third wheres my goddamn spoon?
