@@jaysonraphaelmurdock8812 I used to hate Shemp but he grew on me when I started thinking of him as Shemp and not Curly's replacement. He's funny in his own right. I think my favorite from Shemp is when he got shot several times and when Moe and Larry get him a drink and ask if he needs a doctor he replies "A doctor? No I need a plumber" then he opens his coat and water sprays out of the "bullet holes". That cracked me up.

So I'm a cook, I've done catering for over 15 years in the southeast and banana pudding is definitely one of those things that different areas want a specific way and they reject it anyway other than the way they like it. Most people in the south say they want banana pudding but all it really is, is vanilla pudding with slices of banana and Nilla wafers topped with whipped cream. One of the places I worked once had new management and they decided for us to make actual banana pudding and a couple of the times that we served it the customer's always complained. But I have also lived in Colorado and they're their banana pudding is actually banana pudding, and if you try to give them vanilla pudding they would riot. I love it that this topic came up just because it's so obscure but honestly is one of those things that has some actual depth! And they say we only come here for the wrestling🤣🤣🤣

@@MrDagonOfTheDead What about Thai, Cambodian or Vietnamese banana pudding ? Also there is banana in tapioca and coconut milk pudding but is sometimes just called banana pudding. The taste of Asian banana pudding is so different from the American ones because it usually uses a different type of banana. The flavor is usually more fruity and tart.Although, I think if you gave Asian banana pudding to people in the south or Colorado they would not only reject it but would get completely triggered. Anyways, I have never had a banana pudding I did not like. Banana pudding is great as is banana cream pie.

Banana pudding should always be served out of a metal cake pan. You line the bottom and sides with nilla wafers, then pour in the pudding, then top with sliced banana. You put it in the fridge for at least 4 hours to let the cookies get a little soggy. Then you take it out and put a row of cookies all around the edge of the top of the pan. Whipped cream only when its served. People who just blend it all up in a giant bowl are Philistines.
