Danielson himself said that the main reason that he didn't resign with WWE was that they wanted him to wrestle a safer style because of his injury history, particularly when it comes to concussions. It's entirely fair enough if he doesn't want to change his style (though I hope TK has read the riot act to him about using the Flying Headbutt - there's a good reason Harley Race - one of the legitimately toughest SOBs ever to lace up a pair of wrestling boots - regrets accidentally creating that move), but he wasn't misused specifically.

I’m almost 100% certain I heard Bryan say in a media scrum interview that he isn’t hyper focused on forcing his way into the title picture, he just wanted to have some of the best wrestling matches of his life and wrestle in the places he’s always wanted to. So I take it that Bryan is more motivated to wrestle in Japan & Mexico while having dream matches in AEW, rather than carry the world title for a year.

Tony Kahn’s attention span lasts about 3 years. At least that was the case with Fulham FC and the Jags. To be clear, he doesn’t ever quit the job, he just needs to divert his attention to a new job his dad bought for him. To be fair, he was never a very good GM for Fulham, and the analytics dept of Jacksonville had never been the envy of the NFL even in his 1st 3 years with both of those jobs, jobs he still holds to this day. TK doesn’t ruin franchises or anything, he takes bad existing ones and puts a fresh coat of paint on them. They still suck at their respective sports, but they usually sign a big name or two and get new facilities and fresh injection of marketing. After 3-4 years it’s time to move on to something new…..can’t wait until Shahid buys the Chicago Cubs and makes TK the pitching coach.

Ive still yet to watch min of AEW.
