I met Jim Nabors at an Indiana Pacers basket game. I was several feee from him and asked how he was feeling? He had just had a liver transplant. He told me he was feeling very well and was so appreciative I had asked and cared. What a gentle, caring person with a laid back, beautiful personality. I will never forget that moment with him. He was truly a real sweetheart.

Listening to Jim Nabors singing this song is so touching and feels my heart with glee. Jim Nabors was so humble, kind, loving and caring which made him a fine human being. Blessed with the talent of acting and singing which he shared with the world. I agree with the previous comment, which stated he was underrated. Jim Nabors in my book is a National Treasure. One of Alabama's beloved and honored finest stars. May he rest in peace.

Why can't Hollywood produce entertainment like this anymore. No special effects no camara tricks just talent. A dazzling example of Jim Nabors' singing. Now it's all about race and getting even with the man. Give me Flip Wilson. Incredibly talented comedian who kept it real and funny but could still poke fun at authority. I weep for the future.

Jim Nabors - what a phenominal voice. Few artists today can equal the range, depth and quality that artists of 40-50 ago. Moreover, today's artists are spoiled by the 'auto correct' digitial manipulation that allows them to sound perfect regardless of talent. I truely miss seeing people as talented as Jim Nabors. Sorry - but I haven't seen anyone in today's pop culture who comes close to having the talent of the performers of yesteryear.
@adamlane98155 жыл бұрын
SoccerVideos You know, I don’t like modern music much either, but I would suggest Paolo Nutini. He actually is really good. Also, you might enjoy Postmodern Jukebox. Although they were better a few years ago, but they’re all non-autotuned performances.
@TedBronson19184 жыл бұрын
They don't look for talented voices like this anymore. They hardly even need talented musicians when they can piece together music on a computer. I have no idea what inspires people to dance to the horrible crap that is put out nowadays other than a strong beat, and lots of beer and drugs.

Jim nabors in my opinion is the best in the business. I'm a performer myself piano and vocal and I've performed all my life. Graduated Berkeley School music in Boston. When Jim nabors sings the impossible dream he certainly knocks it out of the park as they say. He hits every note precisely. His three key changes from b flat and etc is amazing. I truly respect this man and his talent is impeccable. Thank you for entertaining us. Steve Milo 🎹🙏
