Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown combined for just 26 points for the Boston Celtics in their Game 3 loss to the Miami Heat. Meanwhile, Jimmy Butler has led the Heat to a 3-0 series lead despite being underdogs in the Eastern Conference Finals. Emmanuel Acho, Joy Taylor, LeSean McCoy, and Ric Bucher debate the most impressive part of the Heat’s run.

What TF homeless people got to do with having heart. Either you got heart or you don’t, don’t matter if you homeless or not. Actually homeless people got my heart than people like yourself because there living conditions are rougher & tougher. It’s people like you that are from the privileged suburbs who don’t got heart. So you should have said Suburban people have better heart than Boston because they have it easier in life & not as tough. Boston did quit but homeless people have more heart than people like you.

He's right. Tatum needs to prove himself before being anointed at the same level as guys like Giannis right now. He is having a bad playoffs and last year had a horrible finals and has been known to disappear for long stretches in games. The way I see it... if you or your team is too nice you won't win a championship. You have to have that killer aggressive personality or play style on the court. I can't recall 1 nice guy winning a title since the millenium. Even Duncan was relentless during his run in getting the job done & he's probably the closest one in overall persona. Everybody else were total killers 24/7.

In 2011, LeBron didn't have D Wade, Chris Bosh! come on now. Tatum is a superstar in the league right now. He has been to 3 conference finals and one conference finals leading to the finals last year. He's arguably going to be a top 100. One bad series or losing a finals, is not going to eliminate a person's already completed greatness. It's for him, to truly add to it.

This is a different era now. Patience s short becuase everything is instant overexposure with social media. Info comes in seconds or realtime so people attention spans are shorter. Jason tatum would have been a top 10 superstar in the early 2000/2010 era. The only knock is he doesn't have mental toughness of a Kobe, Jordan and those early superstars.

@@alvinjohnson2402 interesting point. Besides Jaylen Brown, there is no other all star to superstar player on the team. Smart is a good player, Brogdon and Horford is a 1 time all star back in 2017 very serviceable. But not a super elite class, besides Tatum and Brown. Tatum's next level is a ring. And if he never gets a title. He will be in the company of Karl Malone, Barkley, Elgin Baylor, Iverson, Ewing who reached the finals, but never got a ring 😔

@daviddawson8379
@daviddawson8379 Жыл бұрын
@@the757general2 LeBron James, Dwade and Bosh are better than Jason Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Al Horford. That's already the top. Before LeBron went to Miami, he already brought a team to the finals in 2007 and Wade at age approximately 25 in 2006, was the finals champ and finals MVP. And with all those accolades. They then teamed up, along with Bosh, who at that time, was already a 5 time allstar in 5 straight years, avg at 21 pts and 9 rebs during that stretch. No way is Boston better than the Heat 2011 team, top to bottom. The Heat top 3 players, are better than Boston's 2023 top 3 players.

The heats run really what it points out, is that teams really should start looking beyond their 1st round pick, for answers to build their team out, there are millions of potential nba players out there yet al horford still got a job, al is a great player don't get me wrong, but the equivalent player in the nfl would be long gone, the nba needs to stop relying on pedigree and just ask, can this guy hoop? Props to the heat for seeing this and hopefully creating a new trend of not having to build super teams and just finding guys who can hoop.

If Jayson Tatum had the luxury of playing with Jimmy Butler, he would have the luxury of being mentored and molded into greatness gradually instead of being heralded prematurely. I have no doubt Tatum will eventually become really great but you can't skip the growth process.

His teammates need the respect.. Jimmy already got his.. look at the box score. His teammates showed out every single game. Almost 5 guys with 15+. Martin lead the team in scoring game 2 and Vincent In game 3.

@@Hmongbookie to add context in round 1 when Jimmy scored 56 Acho was saying how he’s not that impressed etc because Jimmy don’t do it in the regular season and it don’t matter if they go far in the playoffs that’s why I’m saying this now that their a game away from the finals also he was discrediting Jimmy because he don’t have a ring

It’s disingenuous for everyone to be giving Jimmy Butler all the credit for the Heat’s playoff run. He did the thing for them vs the Heat in round 1 but since then the entire Heat team has stepped up. Bam, Duncan Robinson, Struss, Vincent and Lowry have all showed up and played their roles to perfection.

You’re right, but he does deserve the majority. The Heat as a whole has been awesome. But Jimmy is responsible for late game heroics in games 1 and 2

What I like about the heat especially in the post season in the past 5 years, The Heat play like their lives depend upon winning.....like if they don't win they will "DIE." So, the Heat hussle and play hard with 110% like if they don't put that effort in and their Boss Pat Riley who has won 8 NBA titles will say "Y'All Didn't try to Win!!!" He treats all of his players like gods....and you NEVER hear mess breaking out about their players!!! It is a really good organization!!!!
