It's less uncommon now, but definitely not in some parts, but it would surprise you which parts though. I have never experienced more straight up racism than in NYC (I grew up here). But when I stay with my aunt in uncle in the midwest, I somehow felt MORE accepted by people... I'm in my late 20s, so not HS, but I was the nerdy Asian kid who dated mostly non-Asian girls when I was living in Minnesota. Nobody made it a race thing. You know who did? Whenever I was back in NYC with a GF, we always heard racist things.... in the city that's supposed to be very liberal. Anyway, I think it's more common now with kpop and all, I get a lot of very young non-Asian girls (teens and early 20s) coming up to me (and I can just TELL they're a kpop person and want to talk to me because I'm Asian)

These are my favorite kinds of romance stories. Two people slowly falling in love through mutual adoration and respect for each other. Loved it, hope there’s more to this story in the future

@@honesteibarfan8672 Just wanted season 2 but they cancelled 😢❤️ Firstly i was thinking its going yo be a lovestory/romance type series when i see its short but after watching it the love story is basically side part of series and pretty small as well But after all im not disappointed ❤😊 it is also very good sadly there will be no Season 2 i want to see Jin and Amilia’s chemistry more😢❤

I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it. It does seem that nearly all fathers and brothers are hoping that their daughters and sisters never date or get married and remain single for the rest of their lives. Romantic relationships seem like a bad thing since there is a lot of dangers when it comes to them. The overprotective father/brother thing is proof that romantic relationships are a bad thing, and this world would be a much better place without them. If someday that the human race ditches the concept of romance and romantic relationships, and got rid of stuff like dating and marriage, fathers and brothers would be happy about it since they wouldn't ever have to worry about their daughters and sisters ever dating if that ever happened.

That was so damn sweet. I really liked both of them. Their personalities actually suited each other really well and as I always say communication is the key. If from what I have seen in this short mv they both are nailing it. It felt pretty good seeing such an healthy relationship. Most of the movies now don't really show healthy relationship instead they glorify toxic relationship.

I notice that a bunch of people in the comments are asking what the show is called. It is a Disney plus original called American Born Chinese and it is based off the novel with the same name. I have seen the show and I really recommend it. 😊

Exactly as an Asian like I actually binged it for another take on mythology but like after episode 2, I just didn’t care cos oh my god I loved these two so much. And like after that I just felt we didn’t get enough Amelia and that annoyed me. Like this video is literally 50% of her screen time

It's not too quirky or cute, it's stumbling and stilted, he sounds like me when I have well developed thoughts in my head yet nonsense jumbles out. She also does a great job acting a teenager just one better composed than he.

As an Asian, I chose to watch the show for yet another interesting take on the mythology. Instead, I got annoyed at wei Chen for interrupting these two’s time together because OH MY GAWD they’re so cute. The last thing I expected was to absolutely adore the romance and that’s what happens. Jin and Amelia perfectly personify a teen romance so cutely

Ye i watched it to see their love chemistry ❤ But it was just to short and side part of the main story from which im disappointed Because the main story is about magic or comic characters The whole you see in this vedio was whole in the series there are no extra scenes in series which are not in this vedio approx 90% of their couple scenes are in this vedio But im also happy after seeing the ending when he kissed amilea 😊 Buy i wanna see their chemistry after they got in relationship but they cancelled Season 2 of this show which is really sad Season 1 is all what we got which mainly focus on comic stuff 😢😢❤ Really want its Season 2 badly Jin and Amilea❤❤
