This show is so interesting, informative, and sincere. I don't think I was born in the "wrong era", but I do wish I were old enough to have been able to experience TNN's and ESPN's motorsport coverage in their prime. If only there were some sort of way the entire back catalogs of these networks could be preserved. I would love for shows like Car & Driver, later episodes of Raceday, Saturday Night Thunder episodes that focused on sports and touring car racing, and In the Driver's Seat to resurface one day. I think that plenty of younger and more recent race fans would appreciate having the option to watch them. We love learning about the sport's history and seeing what came before us.

Back before NASCAR lost touch with its roots! I've been a fan since I saw Dale Sr at Daytona in 1979. My dad and uncle took me to the race from our farm in Ohio. I still listen to the races on the radio in my shop and go to Michigan every August. I don't watch on tv anymore though. I HOPE that NASCAR gets back in touch with its roots before it's too late.
