Master Ricardo, do you have a counter for the spider guard "escrima hook" ? That hook is always tough to take off when trying to pass the spider guard.

beautiful. I'll have to try it, although I'm skeptical about "they always grab the pants leg." It seems to me that this move hinges on your ability to switch the grips, which looks awkward.

the roll is the hardest thing about this .... I usually try and explode into it as my roll isn't the greatest ...yet

The spin looks easy but if you do not push with the inside leg, you will struggle to land the triangule.................so you must practise it a lot, like everything, thanks

Tried this on another white belt, hit it nicely Tried it on a purple belt and got heel hooked twice in a row How do you avoid leg locks when using this move?

Congrats, the thing about heel hooks is that if you plan on doing tournaments, most (espesially IBJJF) won't allow heel hooks in at any belt level, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. But it's good you're looking to find a defense/counter.
