Comedian Joan Rivers took some heavy criticism today after a joke she made about the Holocaust on her E! show, â Fashion Police."Commenting on Heidi Klumâ s Oscar day dress, Rivers said, â The last time a German looked this hot was when they were pushing Jews into the ovens.â The quip didn't sit well with many, including the Anti-Defamation League. Aradmel Everyone should be entitled to speak about the Holocaust, not just Joan. She had a lot to say about the Palestinians in a rant. What have the Palestinians done to her? Nothing. In fact when the people came from Europe and took over Palestine who was their leader? PM A. Sharon, that is who. First they took their homes and contents, pillaged, raped, murdered. Sharon loved to disembowel people. The more blood and gore the more he loved it. It doesn't make them look good at all. Never took their land peacefully but by violence. I liked Joan as a comedienne but if you are going to speak about something at least be honest about it.

Although crude, she's right. Humor is often a side effect of coping with an anxiety provoking or nerve wracking situation. These days, the politically correct and over-sensitive crowd is growing rapidly. People seem to have nothing better to do then stress themselves out over what people they'll never meet are saying about whatever. I admire Joan. She said it 'like it is' and didn't give a flying fuck about what other people thought. That's why she infuriated so many people. She just didn't care and wouldn't apologize. In a world where everyone is overly entitled and has ego's the size of Alaska, I wouldn't mind seeing more of her brand of humor. And to the people happy at her death, take a look at your own lives instead. You condemn something you see as wrong by (crude jokes or "insults") with more insults? Many of us throw bricks but live in glass houses.

Go, Joan. I love you so much, you were unapologetic as a TRUE COMEDIAN and never apologized for your craft or humor. It wasn't just a mindlessly offensive joke, and if anyone can tell it, it is Joan, a Jew who was married to another Jew and had the artistic license to tell a joke like that. Comedy is in a dangerous place today where the overly PC society we live in is casting a shadow of censorship on comedy which is the last place it should ever be.

If you get through life that way great but everyone is different and if you can't emphasize or comprehend something is not a joke to someone that is something a psychiatrist needs to diagnose and help you with. Just don't hide behind its a joke about a crass comment, own it. What if you are dealing with a suicidal person and your "joke" takes them over the edge? Will it be your next joke? Its nobody's fault someone is suicidal but it's certainly being at fault for helping them over the edge. And don't hide behind the my husband or whoever offed himself, yes YOUR husband, not you and you cope how you can but can't get angry at people who don't do it like you and don't find you funny.

"Funny" is subjective. Laughing is instinctual just like crying is. If someone cries over a painting you wouldn't say "it's not sad so stop it!". Saying "I don't find her funny" is the only statement you can say that's true. You can only speak for yourself. Why do you comment so much on her videos if you hate her? You're giving attention to someone you don't like. That's a pretty self-destructive attitude to have. Stop caring and let Joan mind her own business just as she let's you mind your own
