Fuckin sad I had to stop it at 4:58 because I just got done arguing with my xwife and to save face from crying in public at this coffee shop I can't hear anymore ,but I'd like to thank you Jocko and Echo and especially these Hero Marines who gave all for us I can't find the words to express my sorrow for there loss and all the 2nd hand victims. You really are one of the most inspiring person I listen to on podcasts and lectures and Thanks for all the advice , encouragement, instruction; and good times when you make me laugh at some of the stories you tell Jocko & Echo. Thanks for being there for me with the information and encouragement.

Back to pepper spray. If your attacker is expecting a soft target that might be enough if you're lucky. I'd say it's also great in-case you're weak and you come across someone who's mentally ill, overcome with rage they cannot control, or a stalker of some kind. There's a real possibility in these corner situations that you can prevent injury to yourself and possibly to your attacker. There's many situations where pepper spray will not work but a gun would.

After listening to all 162 podcasts, I have a queshj. Could you apply your leadership principles to a book that isn't specifically about war / business? One that I'd recommend as a start is Carl Sagon's "demon haunted world: science as a candle in the dark" I think he thoroughly applies the concept of getting after it to science and i'm interested to hear your take on it. Either way. Cheers for the podcast, Jocko. True inspiration. You too, Echo, always good for the lols.

Every single paper pushing ars...l..., uptight ..ars...e.... needs to hear this ! Clinically speaking I would say that this form of craziness is what marks us out as categorically human , I remember a podcaste a while back where you were saying about the rise of the Nazi's, "prols" following external directives without a sweet bone in thier body, nineteen eighty four is upon us all ready , the tidal memes of conformity to big brother asault us at every turn , endemic self interest is the name of the game and f..you thier battle cry ! God bless R

Any one know how to ask jocko a question? cuse I have fucked up, or failed to predict this shit that just happened. And now I have no idea how to advance. I Wanted to go with the Department of Service work with Embassy/diplomats, went into collage useing the GI bill for cybersecurity I had 5 classes left, should have ben graduating next year. They have gutted the degree (fired the leader without a replacement), for starters i need around 64 credits, now if i keep going it I would end up with 114 give or take for a additional 9 classes or 2 years of a total of 4+ years done. If i went another degree I could have archived excellents with far less effort and got my bachelor's instead of an associates degree. This semester is bad I have only am taking one class and thankfuly not useing the gi bill but because of a hurricane devastated the city and the one class i am in we are pulling work form previous courses to use the has already been completed.....wtf I am trying to talk to the newly appointed head of the degree but no one seems to be on point. I see a few options 1. I walk into what ever persons office that will hear me out invited or not, And ask for a way to end this cluster fuck... which that way will be tactically shit but it may get things done or ended, one of which is my education at the school. 2. I Go somewhere else or pick another degree and keep going. keep in mind I am 30, I do not have time to spare, and I still see it will give me another 2 years 3. I pull the cord cut my losses 100%, I still want to go government so I go in with some collage credits and my USMC infantry back ground. I Then Go US Border Patrol academy, That will be my endgame with cybersec on the side. 4. I go Civilian with cybersecurity, no mater how long it takes and what it costs. 5. something I have not thought of.
