I don't know about other presidents but there are John Tyler's descendants still alive. The story is also very intresting considering that he was born in 1790 and his GRANDCHILD in 1928

King George V married Queen Mary after her fiancé, George’s older brother and Prince of Wales, Albert Victor, died. Grief sometimes brings people together. Hunter must’ve realized it was wrong and called it off. Not saying it’s right or wrong, but just that it happened, no one was hurt, and we shouldn’t judge them.

Yes, incest was rampant back then, mainly pre-historic times to the fall of imperial monarchies in Europe (in the western tradition anyway) around 1918, however this is not an example of incest, since the two in question are not blood relatives. I did not even mention the OP’s misuse of the term “harem”, but that’s a different point. I think it’s the Danish crown, I need to google it.

Eleanor's full name was Anna Eleanor Roosevelt Roosevelt. She didn't use the Anna out of deference, I believe, to her Uncle Teddy's whose first wife, Anna, died when Eleanor was very young.

Bidens grandmother, Mary Robinette, was not French despite the name. The Robinette's immigrated from England along with the Quakers in late 1600s. Mary is my distant cousin (thus Joe, too) as our grandfathers were brothers in the 2nd generation sfter Robinettes landed in America.

Yeah that’s Jill. This guy made a lot of mistakes. Also Biden doesn’t have French ancestry. Robinette comes from the surname Robinett which is Irish. Biden is 10/16 Irish, 5/16 English and 1/16 German.

Dating a sibling's ex is a bit different than dating than dating their widow/widower. The widower/widow was looking for a lifetime commitment and lived up to it. An ex is another ballgame.

Yeah Trump never really had to struggle like joe he lost some of his family in a car crash his son died and he failed to get nominated by the DNC multiple times I think he just wanted to make sure Hunter never had to go through that and that's his only son

A lot of times when children are seriously injured or ill, the parents dote on them to the point of spoiling them. I saw this happen in my own family. Some children can handle it but it seems it affected Hunter to a great degree. Drug issues, marital problems. Luckily for him, he has a loving supportive father, unlike Trump. Trump was not ill, but he had a father who gave him everything but his self-esteem.

It seems many people have an issue with Hunter having dated his deceased brother's wife. At the time they were both adults - they were both unattached - what is the problem? It's possible that they both were very fond of the deceased husband / brother - it's possible that they both missed him terribly - it's possible that they found comfort and solace in each other's company.

An interesting story there is that Eleanor Roosevelt and FDR were actually fifth cousins (I think once removed/added). Her surname was already Roosevelt before she married, and she was Teddy Roosevelt's niece. I agree, I would love to see that family tree charted out.

Rather sloppy not to have found any ancestors of Edward (Francis) Blewitt when you could have gone to Wikipedia and read that he "was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Patrick and Catherine (Scanlon) Blewitt, who were emigrants from Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland." Or do you disagree with that statement?

@Oliver Kuiz It would be very difficult for him to do that if your father is just a regular citizen because all information about him would be private. It would be much easier if you did the research yourself through talking with relatives or getting on ancestry or Geni. Both of which cost a little bit of money to do research but I have accounts on both and will tell you that they are worth it if your interested. I would recommend getting a DNA kit with Ancestry and using it to start your research, I now have a tree with over 900 of my relatives on it.

I know nobody reads it but i still wanna say it. One of english ancestors of Joe Biden was married to woman named "Małgorzata Cieszyńska" - that woman was a daughter of "Przemysław Noszak". Noszak was a Silesian Piast, ancestors of Silesian Piasts are Piasts, so also Mieszko the First, first king od Poland, who created Poland as a country and christianize it in 966. It is clear that Joe Biden is (in a very, very small percentage) a descendant of early medieval former of Poland.

I know a lot of people are saying things about Hunter dating his brother’s widow, and I get it. It’s weird. I had the same reaction, but after having my dad die, I can *sort of* understand Hunter. People grieve in different ways. Hunter lost his brother. Hallie lost her husband. Maybe during their grief, they sought each other as anchors and then things escalated as they got close. The human brain is weird and when you bond with someone over loss, it’s a powerful thing that can lead to a lot of emotions and sometimes those emotions get weird. Of all the critique one can give to Hunter, I don’t think this is one of them and he deserves a pass for it. Is it weird? Yes, especially for their children who are cousins. But as I said, the brain is weird during grief.

@@Xarosy it depends on the country where you and your ancestors are from where to find the information, but most countries have online documents nowadays. You must look for birth certificates marriage certificates and death certificates. Just start with you, your parents, your grandparents and go up one generation each time. Keep in mind that because of privacy laws not 100% of the recent documents are public. For example in my country, Holland, all death certificates after 1970 are private. But before 1970 pretty much everything is online. I used FamilySearch to make my tree:)
