This is like the first positive V injection ever made instead of turning everybody in jerks. Maybe if he gets control of it like Starlight learned her true potential. The comic and the show seem to have swapped Butcher and Homelander's quality of development. Anthony Starr's potrayal is superb, but the direction they take Butcher in is all wrong, imo. Butcher was so singlemindedly fixated on eradictating every trace of V from the planet that he was willing to kill millions, and his lack of change was what made him terrifying. Loved that version.
