Great show as always! I’m 66 and old school I’m surprised I’m not dead yet from being a fan of our crazy club! Reece is like his sister got a short fuse but that was not a red considering what happened to Mudrick off the ball and the disallowed Jackson goal for a light push that didn’t even send the guy to the ground was a joke. We are playing great football and it’s just a shame this form didn’t kick in half way through the season. Poch is good at getting young players to a great level but I’m still not sure he’s the man to take this squad to challenging for the Prem or CL but of course I could be wrong. We just need 3pts Sunday and the Spuds to bottle and we have 5th! I also hope Poch uses Silva at some point on Sunday and gives him the captains arm band! Com On You Blues!!!!

I just find it so ironic in a sport where players go down for 20+ minutes accumulated every game and fouls are given, yet when a player eventually gets concussed and has to be taken out of the game (and miss the next Gameweek because of it) they ignore it even happened.

The good thing about Fofana though is as a CB he can adjust his game like JT and silva to be highly effective without pace which will allow him to grow back into the side and potentially be better for it.

That Nkunku goal was a great example of his influence. It wasn't just the goal it was the whole build up play that he orchestrated. He is patient & intelligent. Penalty? Everywhere else on the pitch if the man takes out the player as well as the ball its a foul. It suddenly seems though that if contact with the ball is made all is ok!! Trevor is the only central defender we have that shows signs of constant improvement. He also has a strong confident demeanour and good football brain. Got to keep in. VAR Solution: (You guys can borrow this and claim it as your own) One VAR screen by the side of the pitch, controlled by a "video guy" not a REF. On-Field REF can use the VAR screen at any time to check on his on-field decision IF he feels it is necessary. Managers of the two teams have 2 VAR checks available to them, that they can use if the REF doesn't think it is necessary to check the VAR, forcing the REF to double check. Off-Field Screen - REFs get to see the event ONLY in normal speed, no slo-motion. They get all available angles and 30sec. Then they either continue play or change their decision.
