Recently saw In the Mouth of Madness, and I simply loved it! I had a lot of good memories when I was younger watching Big Trouble with Little China.

@@Franksmediaandreviews yes, In The Mouth of Madness keeps growing on me. Big Trouble In Little China is so much fun and I went to a midnight showing 4 or 5 years ago at an Arthouse theater and the auditorium was about a little over half full and we were all loving it, it’s great nostalgia with Jack Burton.

Fantastic list from one of my favorite directors! I had a chance to see Vampires in Toronto at a film festival and it was shown their before premiering anywhere else. The crowd were full on Carpenter fanatics and it was one of the most fun experiences I’ve ever had at a movie theatre.

5 of my all time fav movies are Carpenters Big Trouble In Little China They Live Prince of Darkness Christine Halloween I grew up finding these VHS tapes on our racks at home when I was way too young to watch them and became hooked and could recite them word for word. Halloween has to be No.1 though and my fav horror movie/franchise ever simply because it is still going strong today and the Michael Myers character always has people thinking what goes on in that mind of his. Great video 👍

Excellent! Halloween’s a great movie, but I only tend to watch it in October and I can watch The Thing at any time of the year.

Carpenter is my favourite horror director and possibly favourite director ever. Halloween was my favourite for ages but at age 50 my frequent rewatches have bought The Thing to the top. It’s the best sci-fI horror ever in my opinion. His scores always bring the level up and the atmosphere in his best films are unique and ethereal. A film and musical genius.

I agree with you 100%. I believe that The Thing is his scariest movie and Halloween is great well. Yes, he has a lot of great film scores.

Great ranking, I did my ranking a couple of months ago with the films I own, I didn’t include Ghosts of Mars, The Ward, Village of the Damned and Dark Star, I also didn’t include any TV properties.👍

Very cool. If I don’t have or haven’t seen movies I always state it too before the ranking starts. It’s all about talking about what you know and having fun.

@@jimtatro6550 I get it, but the visual is the most important part in a ranking. I use movie posters to give viewers the option to scan through the video first.

cool list. i saw They Live in theaters and didn’t take it too seriously, found it forgettable but I feel like I need to revisit it. He def hated working with Chevy. Cool about Jamie Lee at that fan event. I don’t think you mentioned did you go and get her autograph?
@excelsiormoviereviews2 ай бұрын
Yes, They Live still seems relevant today. No, I missed that Horrorhound with Jamie Lee Curtis, but the Blu Ray has a great special feature detailing her getting picked up at the airport in Indianapolis and a lot of the convention.
