Putting the John Deere 520 back together and getting it fired up

Mike , I am sorry for your loss . Take comfort in knowing your grandma will spend eternity with no more pain or suffering . It's funny that 520 will outlive us all . There not just old tractors , they are so many memories .

Sorry for your loss Mike. Mine died in 1999 of a stroke. I miss that woman every day. I just wish she had met my children and them her.

I have 2 1958 520’s. Both have been on this farm for well over 50 years. Both still earn their keep around here but have a much easier life than they did when we were actively farming and using them every day. They can both be seen still earning their keep on my You Tube channel, “ Tractor Talk With Gary “ Sorry about your grandmother Mike. That’s rough to see someone close go through that.

Sorry about your grandmother that is a bad sickness my father is getting I am taking him to visit friends it's probably the last time I was glad to the 520 run I had the 630 running that was a good for dad I have a few more to get running

As a viewer for quite some time Mike each and every one of your videos is fantastic you do a great job thanks for taking the time to make videos for all of us here on KZfaq to enjoy thumbs up to you sir, I'm sorry for your loss i still have both of my grandmother's and they both have that awful disease and both are at peace and ready for the good lord to take them unfortunately it's going to be a sad day when that day comes, that was an awesome tribute fixing and starting that tractor that is one of my favorite sounds in the world could listen to that day and night!!!

Less than zero chance of snow here down under , tractor time ( green & yellow ) for me is spreading fertilizer then over seeding ryegrass into existing pasture with an inverted T boot seeder .

Sorry to hear about your grandma. My mother is going through the early stages of dementia right now I suppose things will only get worse from here. It's tough. On another note, are you still using your GoPro camera to do these videos? Or did you upgrade to something else? Do you have any other suggestions? Thank you for the great videos!

Mike both grandmother are gone one from hardening of the arteries which leads to Alzheimer and the other from cancer they both suffered so when they went to a better place.
