Pretty neat. His tossing things around could be anything. it has been longer for him than anyone else! But he's real about its place, especially at the end, even as the background sample is an already pretty strong "Strange Days" with an excellent drum line. Lots of informative bits in this clip! (It gets better than just the go-go dancer who couldn't dance. 😅)

Forget the New Orleans show also known as the last performance. Rumor has it that it was recorded however it has never turned up anywhere. The last known recording of Jim Morrison with the doors is State Fair Music Hall, Dallas Texas December 11th 1970. Two shows that evening, both on KZfaq. Although a horrible bootleg recording of low-quality, it is a tremendous historical document. Recorded the day before the doors final performance together at the warehouse in New Orleans. Please check it out Dallas is hip!

i turned to another channel after watching him just discard the box top as it fell and didnt pick it up,,, as a collector of records and music i look after all the stuff i buy,, because i know the value of something while the other half just don't even appreciate their own work or someone elses? "what do you give someone who has everything in life"? definately not a boxset,,,,

His contributions to the Doors, etc. aside, he seems "put up" to this video, rather than wanting to sincerely "introduce" this latest offering to the world. It would have been better if he stowed his own personal feelings, emotions, etc. towards it and put on a "happy face" while introducing these materials to the countless fans who REVERE the Doors and look forward to new archival releases such as this. I know Densmore has "been there, done that" but he did not need to be so cavalier about it, stuff like this is important to long time fans and overall, helped put HIS name on the map so to speak. It's ironic too, remember how Densmore carried on when the "Doors" (Ray & Robby) decided to continue in later years post Morrison, with Ian Astbury, etc.? Just my HO, your opinion may vary. That is all - ride on America!

Every time a box set is released you only find one thing which is new, the rest is basically the same, so it's not worth to spend money on it. I stop spending money on boxsets when I my head cleansed and I said "I am a victim of merchandising, some day all those things will be easy to get for free in the internet" and it is.
