@@vibes..585 I live in a small fishing town, it reminds me very much of Ireland, in fact not too far from here there's an island that still speaks Irish (it belongs to Canada though). Bad weather and the sea have, up until recently, protected it from nonsense. Lately I've noticed the same insidiousness try to push their way in but the people here are tough. Apart from the fact that they don't just fling open the doors to welcome everyone in, if you pull a knife on someone here they don't call the cops and you may not be walking away to tell the tale. Better or worse? 🤷‍♀️ The problem here also is tourism. They come to see a beautiful place, then buy second homes they only use for 3 months out of the year and slowly destroy the community they loved to death. They don't assimilate AND THAT'S PEOPLE FROM THE SAME COUNTRY! Ironically, it's their ancestors that learned from Irelands last invasion.
