Top three things I like about young Johnny 1. He holds the M4 by the hip, meaning his experience with weapons was limited to only his Hollywood flicks. He also has very little “spec ops” training. In most military-esque movies there is usually a veteran training instructor that gives you the basics of soldiering, and I’m pretty damn sure the only thing young Johnny heard was “pull the trigger, gun go ratatatatata” 2. The melodrama he has is that of a teenager. Even after the whole “they shot our face”, the guy had THE BALLS to pick up a tac-shield and ram the Black Dragon thugs while screaming like an idiot. Let’s not forget his ego which ties into this 3. His “innocence”. He thinks this whole damn thing is a well-staged movie production instead of an actual war between a bandanna wearing Chinese monk who is best friends with a lightning guy, and a guy who- after two hits or a shoulder ram, points at you and laughs like a douchebag (Liu Kang and Raiden v. Shao Kahn).
