This series of movies are the best , we watched them with our children and can now watch them with our grandchildren. Very rare for movies that both children and adults alike can enjoy. Only The Lord Of The Rings trilogy has been at the top of our watch, wait and buy list, besides POTC !!!!!!! Thanks DIsney.

@MrSiriuscris Ok, here's my reasoning. In 1, everything is well explained and makes sense. In 2, they leave you on a cliff hanger, which went against the pace that the first movie set. In 3, they bring up several things they leave unexplained like crab/rocks, a lady that turns into a giant then bursts into more crab/rocks, then there is an unexplainable whirl pool that both ships somehow manage not to sink into until the end of the fight. 4 appears unique, and hopefully will explain everything.

@HEIGHTSIXFIVE The third movie was well explained if you were paying attention. Tia Dalma = Calypso. Therefore, yes, she can summon rock crabs, turn into a giant AND create whirlpools when she's upset. The reason why she was upset was because she realized that her one true love (Davy Jones) betrayed her. It was his fault she was trapped in a human form for so long. So, yeah. There were no loose ends.
