GREAT Video !!!! After 4 years of setting up I forgot how it went, I am attempting this now! I so greatly admire you and makes me ashamed that at 68 years old I complain about how my TWO hands don't work well any longer. My Respect.

Another exact instructions demo with exceptional video. Your 56 minute D110 maintenance video was excellent, but somehow you included a couple subtle tips that really help even more about belt replacement. Your video is the best available on KZfaq. Thanks for some genuine advice & video.

My 20 something year old L110 makes for a difficult change of belt. There is no way the bolts on the guides (at 7:22) were going to budge. The rust welded them tight (they would have broken had I used the airtool). Watching you bend the one guide back, gave me the idea to use a wedged screw driver to coach enough space to get the old belt out and the new belt in. Thank-you so much for your video. Took the stress right out of the change of belt that should have happened 3 to 4 years ago. lol.

I installed a rebuild kit on my L110 mower and afterwards when I started the mower the blades were always engaged and I could not understand why. After watching your video I realized that I installed the brackets for the cable backwards which caused the cable to be REALLY tight to the point that as soon as I started the mower the blades were engaged. Thank you for your video. You did a good job at explaining the belt replacement.

Thanks for the video! Very good! I did find a way to replace the belt without taking the mower housing off the machine. I ran the tractor up on car ramps, locked it in place, lowered the deck and was able to get at all the bolts that enabled replacement. I have a bad hip, so dragging the mower housing out from underneath posed a problem for me. All your other tips were very useful. Thanks!

Very good, you explain it very well, I recently put a new belt on my LA115 John Deere, after getting it back on I mowed about 3 mins. and the belt came off and ruined the new belt. The 1 mistake I made watching your video, was I hooked the spring over the top of the idler arm, not from the under side. I just watched your video as well as one more and both said to hook the spring from the underside of the idler arm. I guess that was the only thing I did wrong.

@@JohnsonsSmallEngines I was racing the rain to get the mower going and get the grass mowed, now I'm wolfing down food and trying not to bite my lip. You only have one hand, I'm 62 and recovering from hip surgery! Your video was so clearly filmed, you carefully explained each step and left nothing out. There was a liberal application of bolt release and a few tiny taps with my hammer to get the little pulley's nut loose. My tractor is a 105 so me and the left pulley cover had a bit of disagreement about if it was going back in. I won. You gave me confidence that I could make this repair. Miracles of Miracles I even got home with the correct replacement belt! Mowing is done and just starting to sprinkle. Thank you for taking the time to make such a helpful video!
