When there are things you don’t like about him, you don’t feel a strong need to change him 5. You both manage conflict well (involves being a good listener) 6. You trust & understand each other

You are so right! I started my relationship with my boyfriend right from the start! Others who didn’t like the standards I expressed, walked away. With this one, it was different, as he was willing to go the distance with me. We are now looking at rings! He says I was so different with my intentionality, and he loves that! Ladies, it is true for the right kind of guy! Wait for it! It is worth it! Know your boundaries and make them known. Some will walk away, but that’s okay, wait for the one!!!

@@kimking3909 - for me, I spoke about my standards and expectations from the start. I didn’t want to fall for someone who had no intentions of meeting my expectations. Several walked away, but my now fiancé stayed and here we are, soon to be married! He loves that I was so clear. He understood what I was looking for from the start!

Hi Jonathan, just coming back, from my sweetheart. Spending some days with him, where he is working for the moment. We lived very limited space together. There was a lot quality time with him, seating together looking "Cloud TV", speaking about our future. Marrige, buying house. And this beautiful feeling of calm and peace in my heart. Just curious about what “living together apart” means. I may be in that situation. We are an older couple, but we are very committed to each other. We care and look out for one another. I know I can always count on him! We joke and call each other “hubby” and “wife.” We do maintain our own homes, however. Over 2 years and still going strong! 💕

I know I'm not in the right relationship because after two serious conversation and 9 months I can say he is unsecure, traumatized and emotionaly constipated. I give a chance to us but now I start to detach and put focus on me and lots of my projects and goals. Not interested in situationships and dating sites just enjoy my life and doing me. I'm actually an ICF trained life coach & I've done a lot of healing, but everything is so chaotic right now that I've got to keep myself a little more guarded than usual to make sure I don't accidentally repeat history. I have been dating a man for a little over 2 months. He has many wonderful qualities, and we have similar values. I want to explore a relationship with him, but he was not honest with me about his life. Come to find out he is still married. This caused me to slow down our relationship, I have not told my family, and only a few friends. I am not hurt or sad. I'm just a little disappointed to be in this awkward situation. He says I love you and want you in my life almost as a mantra. This stops me in my tracks as for conversation. I am irritated by this being said constantly. Why am I irritated by this? "I love you and I want you in my life".
