This is actually pretty accurate based on my own experiences with women when I was younger. When I was a teenager girls were lower on my 'priority list', so I got spoiled with how many girls I attracted without even trying, especially older girls than me. Then during and after college my interests changed somewhat, I became more 'tame' definitely and became somewhat interested in dating. That's when women didn't really found me attractive LOL or lost interest in me quickly. I wasn't happy of course because all the hot girls were going out with douchbags, low IQ dudes, you know who I mean by that... Now I know that I was trying too hard in general. Now I realize that I was kinda boring, because many women between 20 and 25 want a bad ass dude, not a tame good young man. But I stayed true to myself and when I was 29 I met my wife. After a few months of dating I asked her spontaniously why she liked me so much and she said that she's had enough of men who can't offer stability, that I give her love and no headaches. To all the young guys, yes younger women are attracted to idiots. But they also mature and their interests change drastically. If you're a smart man, if you can provide, if you're raised well and not a freak, your time is coming! You'll attract the best kind of women and you really don't need the ones you wanted before. You'll see.

Excellent advice. I haven't married nor am really interested in it, but I feel I reached the stage of my life where I get to choose who to date with, instead of chasing around. Online dating works wonders with that and shows you to your face the immense dating pool out there. No need to fear a woman rejecting you, there's a ton right behind that one. Just keep sifting through the ho's, golddiggers, or flat out maniacs, and one day you'll get what YOU deserve and wish for.

to the young men watching this. You don't need to be Aggressive in the form of violence or threatening. Just standing your ground and firmly saying "No" or "I don't agree with you" or "I'm not doing that" is enough. Trust me - she will lose it and in a relationship, you'll have plenty of things to disagree over. The goal is to stand by your convictions even if that pisses her off. EDIT: There are some questions about whether this advice is applicable if you are single. The short answer is "YES" because how you behave IN the relationship is the same way you behave BEFORE the relationship. Your passion, ambition and morals must always be UNCOMPROMISING and morally Just.

I thought this was weird at first, but oddly enough, it's exactly how I met my girlfriend. I used to be a successful athlete, and because of that I treated everyone like garbage. One day I met this girl in high school, and she just felt different from all the others. She didn't seem immediately impressed by my looks or athleticism and accomplishments. I felt like I needed to earn her - as weird as that sounds - and play by her rules instead of mine. A few months later I had been "tamed" and we were officially dating. She promised me she'd keep me in check so I don't revert into what I was, and I made some promises of my own to her. It's only been 3 years, but I couldn't be happier with where we are now.

Getting it all twisted saying the devil is rewarding you for asserting yourself, then you're going to end up a bitter, lonely, powerless person and that's exactly where the devil does want you to be. If it ever gets to the point where a woman won't respect you then you have to walk away you don't need to continuously be mean to the point of yelling all the time. The Twilight series was written by a woman, and basically represents the ultimate female fantasy. A vampire and werewolf with unlimited power both fall madly in love with her, and she has to choose which one she wants as a lover, and which one she'll keep around as the dutiful friend. She chooses to marry the wealthy, and attractive vampire who is immortal, and can grant her immortality, and attractiveness as well. The vampire intensely wants her blood, but is able to control himself only because he's deeply in love with her. He refuses to have sex with her before marriage. He's capable of destroying anyone who wants to hurt her, plus looks like a model, plus has unlimited money. The werewolf isn't quite as attractive, isn't wealthy, nor immortal. But he's SO NICE. He's a warm and fuzzy friend, who is intensely jealous of her vampire lover, but gets over it because he just cares for her so deeply.

Divorce is mostly because you have unhealthy people marrying other unhealthy people. There are a lot of dysfunctional people in the world who don't know their dysfunctional and of course we always blame the other person when things don't work out. It keeps us from having to look at ourselves and then we usually get into another dysfunctional relationship. Then we say it's all men or all women who are the problem. If we want healthy relationships we have to be healthy ourselves. I married someone who was just as unhealthy as I was just in different ways. Of course I pointed the finger at her and she pointed it at me. We can change if we realize that we need to.

She doesnt want to tame his aggressiveness completely out of him (although this does tend to happen). Instead, she wants to tame his aggressiveness so it is not directed towards her but is still directed at the outside world (aggressiveness being a sign that he will be able to get what he wants in the world by making his own way despite the obstacles). Thus, she and her children benefit when she submits to the man if the guy continues to conquer his outside environment.

I am from asia and till now I too have been perplexed with the western feminine mindset. In western media, masculinity is seen as toxic or even harmful but in the same realm if you just take a look at the prevalent romance novels, the market is overwhelmed with werewolves, vampires, beasts and so on as male ideal. This is the reason why professor Jordan is considered controversial. He talks truth which somehow has gotten controversial in 21st century.

This video made me realize a lot about my history with women. When i was 16-20 i was Very into working out and i was super troublesome. I had a girlfriend during this period that was way too beautiful for me. I Never understood How i got With her. Then i stopped working out and became a lot more civilized and stopped getting into trouble. I broke up With her and didnt really get much attention from women and i Did not understand Why. I am not extremely Good looking i would say Im just a avarage male. But i still Never understood How i could have a Very Good looking girlfriend When i was at that age But With This video it makes perfect sense. I would be Very dominant back Then and not really give a fuck about peoples feelings and opinions and just Did What i wanted and that is Probably What made me attractive back Then. But also the problem i have is i dont want to be that person anymore. I can’t be.

Im gonna be 100% honest with why I think women are attracted to this, and as a woman I’m trying to muster all the self awareness that I can lol. Women want to feel special and desirable. When you think of an aggressive guy dominating you, it makes you think “he wants ME this badly? Ooo”. It’s the same thing with a wild spirited man, who nobody seems to be able to tie down, but then when you come along and his love for you is the only thing able to control him THAT MAKES U FEEL SPESHAL Women are basically selfish when it comes to lust lol. Well so are men really. Women are turned on by the thought of how somebody else sees them, while for men it’s more about how they feel about the woman… does that make sense? I think that a lot of women lie to themselves with this, because it sounds bad to say “I am turned on by my own self esteem” lol, but if you think about it, it isn’t much more selfish than men. Everybody is selfish I guess lol

She wouldn't outright admit but I put two and two together. She would often tell me how to dress and look. In short, she wanted me to dress and look like some bad boy-street type of dude (ears pierced, trendy hairstyle and facial hair, slits in my eyebrows). She would watch these shows, and I kind of got the feeling she wanted to be like the leading females in these shows: the type of women who don't have to work, who are spoilt by their partners, who click their fingers and expect their partners to come running to them.

Ya know, I don't think that would be wonderful. I think it would be far more wonderful if a woman would speak on female psychology, though if she were actually being scientific, she wouldn't jump to such a huge generalization that all women are turned on by the same things based on a probably pretty unscientific study by...google engineers. Why "study" females as some sort of different hive-mind species when, in fact, they are a huge and diverse group of human people who want all kinds of different things. (lesbians, aces, those women who aren't turned on by the literature mentioned, those who enjoy the literature in fiction, but don't want it in real life, etc. ) Perhaps there are some statistical commonalities according to some limited studies, (were they actually studying what they thought they were studying ? was the sample size large enough ? did they know the women were reading these books for sexual arousal and not just for the entertainment ?etc) but are google engineers even qualified to study half the population based on what books are popular and make vast and sweeping generalizations about them ? I think it would be far more valuable to the average man to interview as many actual women as he can and listen to what they tell him. There's an old book from 1974 called "My Secret Garden" by Nancy Friday. It's about women's sexual fantasies. I don't remember what all is in it, but this might be one interesting read for someone trying to decipher women (hint: you can't decipher all women any more than you can decipher all men). Maybe it confirms some of what came up in J.P.'s lecture, maybe it doesn't. But it could help broaden one's horizons. I'm sure there are others like it by actual women. And here's a pretty interesting book: "Reading the Romance" by Janice A. Radaway. She is an academic who studied the women who read romance, what kind of women they are, and why they do it. Note that not all women do it. She came to some interesting conclusions.

Game of Thrones was the top show in the world when it was about Daenerys Targaryen - sold as a piece of meat to a sexy-savage warrior-king, raped daily, learned how to dominate him sexually, got pregnant, fell in love, then tragically lost both her baby and husband to an evil witch, bravely wandered the desert seducing men wherever she went, commanded dragons, used them to steal a slave army (then set them free thereby earning their eternal loyalty), and returned to claim her birthright as empress. The final episode flopped harder than any show in world history when it was about her taking responsibility for her actions.

Tames, and thus has control. Just a thought.

You can’t force your views on others but Islam justifies even taking women and children of ‘infidels’ as slaves, if they don’t convert. The worst is you can’t even question anything in Koran because it’s blasphemy punishable by death. It punishes even apostasy so it basically is a trap. Notice that very often, once a woman has tamed her man, she loses interest in him and feels the need to go find something more exciting. Now a good man won't ever truly be tamed and a good woman will be happy with a (mostly) tame man. And conversely, a woman will never fill all of her man's desires though she should fulfill many/most of them, and he should be happy with a (mostly) sexy woman

The Netflix description of the show is as follows: "Wholesome college freshman Tessa Young thinks she knows what she wants out of life, until she crosses paths with complicated bad boy Hardin Scott." Bingo, Dr. Peterson. Yet again you are 100% on the money.

I would say, it's simply the desire to have maximum protection. So a female wants the strongest, freest, most dominant guy out there, but not one who is a threat to her. Instead one who has been 'tamed' into channeling his strength and prowess for her protection instead of against her. Simply looking out for herself and her offspring. The game consists of convincing him to feel protective towards you by using your beauty, vulnerability, innocence, etc. Not to make him weaker, but to enlist his attributes in order to protect her and her family. So she tests him in various ways. She wants him to oppose her and yet do the right things. A dance on a tightrope. If he becomes a wimp in the process, she loses interest.

LOL if that was the truth then there wouldn't be a single marriage that lasts longer than 5 years... I think that is for insecure and mentally unstable women (which is a lot of them nowadays). If a woman is psychologically healthy, then she has the capacity to feel secure in herself and not need her parter to be a 'perfect' protector or some crap like that. Also if all women were how you said, then I cant imagine any guy being satisfied with any relationship. Lots of guys may go gay.
@cscoetzee
@cscoetzee 4 ай бұрын
@@adelb7897 Yes, I realize by "empowered" many women today mean "don't need a man". However I find it difficult to deny that the need to hook-up with a partner is basically an encoded biological drive - for any species, not just humans. This, potentially and optimally, brings many benefits including a higher level of security than being alone. Biologically speaking women are still the ones giving birth and therefore needing (or at least appreciating) help to bring children into the world. Of course truly 'empowered' females would shout that they don't need men to do any of that, except to donate some sperm. (Maybe even that requirement could be genetically engineered into redundancy someday.) But even then a 'psychologically healthy' woman would prefer the best, most robust, healthy sperm and not inferior genetic material, would you not say. I believe considerations like these are biologically encoded at some level, life wants to be as strong and powerful as possible. Am I wrong? But the trend nowadays is to believe that what one thinks or chooses to believe are stronger than such considerations. And maybe this can lead to some rude awakenings and feelings of emptiness while standing on your lonely hill shouting how strong you are.

An interesting topic to develop: why many women and men will choose the sexy man/woman instead of the handsome man/woman. This is how I see it: human beings first seek to fulfill their main needs which are oriented more towards the material and physical side of life, they want “safe” things. More authentic love requires taking more risks, revealing more of ourselves... which is why it usually comes later in life when we have had our experiences and now desire a relationship more based on authenticity than on passion for example (even if authenticity does not prevent passion). Few people have the patience and courage to face their loneliness for a while and grow alone in consciousness, which is why the ordinary couple who fit more "into the box" is generally the choice they make.

There is one more way to look at it in case any young people were wondering. She basically wants to tame the man yes, but not to the world, only to her. Think about it like this. You are the loving Rottweiler who loves her unconditionally and lays on her lap and keeps her warm but if anyone comes to the door you are going to rip them a new one. I think that is a decent analogy. She wants to harness your intrinsic male aggression and assertiveness while absorbing your affection.
