Conan is NOT an Irishman. He's of Irish descent. There's a big difference. He's not an Irish citizen, he hasn't paid taxes in Ireland, he's not voted or eligible to vote, he doesn't know the history of Ireland, and so on.

A lot of those "contests" back in the 70's, 80's and 90's had no winner, or if they did, they were given to people working at the company. I enjoy watching vintage commercials and when I see a contest, I always look up the winners, and the majority, were scandal or purposely went nowhere. The Guinness Limerick by Conan was fantastic and showed Jordan what a true maestro can do. Jordan's was very good and sophisticated. But Conan's was funny as hell 😅 I think this is the first time I felt like Jordan came out his shell and ranted about something he is upset about that's not related to Conan! And it made him feel more relatable and like a close friend of Conan rather than their usual shtick.

I don't think it's a good idea. as a professional songwriter his limerick was actually objectively AMAZING (except for the completely arbitrary use of "no doubt" just for the next lyric to work but still genuinely really good which I did NOT expect) Conan was also unironically f*cking great 😭😭😭😭😭
