EK economy is just great. Really helps having the comfort of the A380 with all the space.

After josh started saying the drawbacks of an airline and mocking Sam Chui indirectly, Samchui too started saying the drawbacks lol. Josh you're creating a revolution in reviewing airlines.

This has made me realize that there are true hidden gems in the air industry, especially for economy fliers. Will definitely be investigating more into flying with Emirates in the future! Great video and great experience overall.

I recently flew Emirates and the mighty A380 for the very first time from DUS to DXB and vice versa. Fantastic seat with great legroom and an absolutely quite cabin. OK - the windows are a little tricky to get a good look outside and to take pictures and get reasonable good results. Both flights were between 95-100% full (at least in economy) and the service was great. The best service in economy class? No - my no. 1 is still All Nippon ANA and - though in the past - the good old Swissair! But - as you mentioned - Emirates' IFE is absolutely the best and second to none!

Emirates A380 is just amazing . It's so luxurious and spacious. I travelled from Dubai to JKF in economy for 14 hours and it was quite comfortable.

Great review as always Josh. And size can matter aviation wise lol you cheeky sod! Only ever flown an a380 on AF LHR-CDG on their A380 promotion special. That was pretty special. My favourite bird remains the 747-400, hope to fly the 800 series sometime soon ( lufthansa perhaps to Sao Paulo). Happy to have flown EK on my trips to Beijing and Jakarta, and my bonus miles birthday flight just to Dubai. Crew usually OK but can be a non connected crew. Hard product and food always was solid! The area where he was seated is beside the cabin crew rest area (big boxed area in the middle section) , which he mistakenly said was the lavatory. It's always good to be at this section in Economy as infants are not allowed so as not to wake up the resting crew. I agree, the huge size of the A380 cabin is really a plus, adding comfort.

Always preferred Emirates over Etihad and Qatar in economy class. Dubai Airport is good to spend layover time (not as busy as the others) and the flights are reliable and comfortable. Nice to see you had a good flight as well!

Ever thought of collecting airline sick bags. A relative who use to travel for business has a unique collection.

when i used to work for QR i used to fly EK A380 every 4 months to MRU as QR does not fly there. i admit the A380 Y cls product is amazing😍

Great review, Josh! I have been on the wonderful A380 with Emirates from Melbourne to Singapore, and Dubai to London a few times..it is so comfortable and spacious, and so quiet as you also said. Have safe flights in Africa!

Omg we love Emirates. They are so nice and respect everyone no matter what ethnic background or size shape or color a person is! We won't fly another airline, they may be a little more expensive but well worth it in our opinion and there is 9 to 11 of us flying together on the way home from our summer vacation in Greece. Everyone takes different dates going to Greece but we all fly home together. Hopefully we will go to Greece this summer and also our first flight since covid. Stay safe and keep flying! Flown Emirates 10+ times pre pandemic, so pleased to see the food and service have not been compromised or reduced, unlike so many other carriers are doing. Agree about the crew, they are great had a cabin crew member for my home town in Scotland a few years back, she was great, gave me a few extras and we had a nice chat, she was lovely. Delighted to see Emirates still punching well above the competition. Nice to see you back Josh 👍

I flew British Airways A380 from ORD to LHR in Economy (Exit Row, Upper Deck) and was very impressed with it. The plane felt so spacious and of course, the seat was amazing. The crew were incredible as well. I hope to one day fly Emirates' A380.

I agree big is always best….. always enjoyed the back end of a 747 where the window seats only had one adjacent seat and extra room for “stuff”. The video also reminded how having a spare seat next to you on Economy means so much. I recall a 70’s airliner advert (British Caledonian ?) where the sales pitch for Business / First was that there was always a spare seat next to you …… not a bigger seat but a smaller seat with a spare next to you ! Other advantage of being at the back is you don’t permanently see “the curtain”. Barely any practical benefit for anyone in Business; they generally won’t see it. Just a constant reminder for those in Economy to guess what they are missing !

Never been down stairs on the EK A380 (nor in the front top section either) but I'm glad you shows that section as I would totally sit there - if lucky enought with a empty row. I love how quiet those enormous comfortable planes are.

Hello Josh, Thank you for sharing the experience in different cabins and classes. Showing videos of Economy class shows that it is possible to travel. Not all of us has the opportunity to pay for business or first class seat, but the opportunity to travel the world and experience aviation.

Yay yay absolutely love you flying first class on the a380 on Tuesday from Australia to London for my 30th Birthday so excited

I took a flight in their A380 from Frankfurt to Dubai a couple of days ago. My previous flight was about 8 years ago. Emiraes economy is still amazing, maybe best in the world, but I am not a frequent international flyer to evaluate that and a lot comes from the A380 being a super passenger-friendly airplane. Quite cabin, comfortable seat, the variety of entertainment/ice options is incredible, crews and service are always one of the best. I would recommend this product anytime as prices are also usually fair and reasonable.

Hi Josh. I've flown Emirates London to Australia a few times. Love watching your videos, especially Emirates A380, but have you actually done that flight? I would love to see you do a review on that, from London, short stop at Dubai for connecting flight to Brisbane in Economy. I've never been on a flight that has empty seats either 🙂

I travel economy on Emirates and crew are always lovely and helpful. Never disappointed

Josh, I used to fly every 4-5 weeks on EK, MRU-Mel, pre-covid. Now I strive to book at least 6 flights, same trip for the whole year, unfortunately there has not been any huge improvements on the menu, but still the A380 is my preference, with my 51D,compared to the noisy 777. Nowadays we cannot trust the seat map, seats will be shown blocked or occupied but in reality it a strategy to get passengers paying high dollars for a more expensive seat. .. The WiFi is only about the aircraft position, most of the time connection will be lost. Compared to Qantas product, Emirates is far better.. Safe travel buddy..

I flew this beast of a plane on my trip from Amsterdam - Bali (Amsterdam / Dubai) and loved it for every minute in the economy class. The seat, ICE and food was perfect. Crew was also nice, a lot of extras were given. Hope to go with them and this nice place soon on a next holiday.
