What a jewel from Sad Wings of Destiny. Such a trippy and fantastic song. This version is beautiful. Kel, heavy 70' s influence here, remember this album is from that decade. Just sublime rock and roll here! Keep it up, guys!

1975 to be exact. Judas Priest is phenomenal band indeed.They invented metal as we know today.So talented musicians, exceptional musicianship.Best.

Nice add, but I haven't seen a Dreamer Deceiver studio recording reaction. This to me is something to see when you've heard all of Priest. The recording is just magical.

Unpopular opinion: The studio version is better because Rob's voice isn't so pitchy thanks to studio magic. The vocal is well produced and takes you on a much clearer ride.

This was actually a previous version of the song. This was 75, while the album cane out in 76. Could have changed more than a few things.

Well, here I am after about a 2 hour break of a 3 hour marathon and I can't believe I found this gem!!!! I can't believe you're going to react to a Priest song, a live version of Dreamer/Deceiver a year before the song was released. I've watched this video a million times since I found it only "maybe" 10 years ago here on KZfaq. Haven't even watched your reactions yet, but I know it's going to be epic b/c this song, this version, is fucking epic!!!!

This was before they defined themselves as a leather and studs metal band. That came along in 1978 with hell bent for leather.

This is Kel's favorite because of the visual of seeing them and taking her back in her time machine. I got exactly what I was seeking. I will work on getting studio done. I am looking to get as much early priest as I can. Live and studio.

Glad you approve! We are getting there. OBS still degrades the quality no matter what we do or the setting we use. This configuration is the best and that's as good as we can make it. The camera output is great outside OBS but as soon as we use it as a video capture source, it does the delay thing a wee bit. Ugh. Rich

Agree. And this version is amazing. That goes to show how good the studio version is. Hope they do it in the future. This one doesn't show Rob's full range.
