I was attacked in Bellevue by one of these “mental patients” inside a hotel as a tourist . The police were so desensitized, they kept saying it was “just a mental patient who forgot to take meds “ and “harmless” said they see so many in Bellevue a day that it’s “no big deal”. It’s reached everywhere . We have mental patients on the street. I have so much to say about the safety inside a business class hotel where a $17 an hour employee and no security is supposed to protect your life . The police don’t care or respond because Seattle defunded the police . Just arm yourselves .

That's because most city officials (mayors, council members, police chiefs, DAs, etc) reflect the politics of a city's residents. The Thornton’s gas station and quickie mart at 1st and Broadway in Louisville Kentucky closed in May because the homeless and drug situation just got out of control there.
