And some apartment buildings, you have to get buzzed in and since he "kicked her out", (and I'm assuming) the key to the FIRST door that you have to be buzzed in, is DIFFERENT than your front door key (and since I'm ONLY assuming, but EVERYONE in that building have a key to the FIRST door, it'll ONLY make sense that your front door to your actual apartment be DIFFERENT. ) and more than likely he took THAT key/she could have lost it and never gotten a replacement/she never had one. But by her PREVIOUSLY living there, she STILL had the FRONT DOOR key. By "her name being on the mailbox" is bcuz she use to (and probably still WAS) getting mailed there....
