I like the way you get down in the kitchen, but I really like the way you talk while preparing the food. You’re cooking but you’re entertaining as well. 😊

❤❤Another great tip, and time saving tip I can give you from my culture is you take all those peppers, onions, and garlic into a food processor to make "Sofrito". Double the amount of garlic though. We'll also add Cilantro and Culantro to the food processor for our Sofrito. Pulse it rough, so it's chunky or well, so it's more finely processed. Do it to your liking. I put it in a glass mason jar and use it within a week or two to season ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, like you just did. We also like to make large quantities of Sofrito to freeze in ice cube trays, and just pop those Sofrito ice cubes into a Gallon Freezer Ziploc bag to easily and readily have on hand to just grab out of that bag and pop right in a couple of those ice cubes into ANYTHING we're cooking. Use it when browning ground beef, on ANY meats, including seafood, if you're making beans, even white rice, to give it a kick. I love to learn new cooking techniques, and I feel you might too, so that's why I'm sharing our Sofrito "secret ingredient" time saver. I also use this food processor method to make my own Garlic Paste that I store in the smaller mason jars and freeze if I make a large batch. I'll take out a frozen jar and put into the fridge a day before to thaw out when you need it because it'll take that long to properly defrost.❤❤

Good tip!!!.... I will be using that method in my meals. Me and my son's love eating white rice with the sauce from the meat. 😋...Thanks.

@@shabreidavis7790 thank you for the compliment! Oh yes, that sauce from the meat is so good. Sometimes when my family has eaten all the meat out of our leftovers, I'll still save that sauce because over white rice or mashed potatoes it will be very good. 😉

Freddie, I just came across your site and I want you to know I sincerely appreciate it. I do keto and trying to cut back on the carbs is kind of hard for some sites and some recipes but you do a lot of your meats without heavy breading frying and I really do appreciate that for those of us who are trying to eat a little better keep up the good works girl appreciate it all. I’ll keep my eye on ya.

❤❤😂😂 I LOVE a little Comedy Central with my recipes! Thank you for the humor! I don't know where you're at but I'm willing to bet it's the greater Atlanta area because that's where I'm at and your humor just has that wonderful Atlanta Sazón, as us Boricuas call it. Well Atlanta has alot of international markets where you can find Bitter Orange, aka "Naranja Agria". Because you clean your chicken just like I do, you will love this stuff. It's in either a tall, thin bottle or in a gallon jug, in the hispanic sections. Publix and Walmart might have it too, MIGHT. Otherwise brave yourself to Food Depot or an international market to get it. I use it to clean my chicken. Once you have cleaned your chicken with it, you can also use more of it to season that same chicken with it. Your raw chicken will almost look like it's getting "cooked" while your using it to clean your chicken, because your chicken will get like white, but it's not. You will be shocked at the stuff that will come off your raw chicken. Even that raw fat will seem to dissolve off the chicken. Fyi, Publix and Aldi's are the ONLY two places I trust to buy my meats from, so that's how I know you'll love Naranja Agria to use to clean with. I'll even use it on pork. Red meats, I never tried though, because of that ALMOST looking like your meat is "cooking" in it, and I don't want to do that to red meats. Anyway, keep educating us with your wonderful recipes! ❤❤

I hate you so much for torturing me like this. That looks so fucking good. It's interesting to see how Black americans do things differently , including "washing" the chicken, but I'm sure that adds something to the flavor in the end, even though it's not necessary for sanitation. You do stuff differently than a typical chef but it all makes sense and just looks amazing. Love your vids so much. Anyone who thinks you add too much seasoning is a moron, and it's just that simple.
