As a follow up to this, that 2nd queen that wasn’t laying never started laying. I gave her two more weeks because she was so big. I found her with an egg stuck out of her bottom and the bees very angry. If this was june, i would have tried to help but i had to cull her and i combined them with a back up nuc I had.

I like you can get cells on several frames, I don't like that they are EMERGENCY CELLS, people claim Supercedure...Good method for beginners to make Queens though,

I was able to get great queens this way. I think it would be good for anyone really if you don’t want to graft. Keep in mind that you are not doing this to colonies that don’t have any resources. These colonies all had plenty of resources. So, its really no different than a cell builder. A lot of bees, plenty of resources and good health. Emergency queens in colonies with low resources is not ideal thats for sure. Thanks for your comments!
