⏩ A jump consists of these main poses:
Neutral - the rest pose before the jump starts.
Antic - crouching down to gather energy for the jump (squash), the arms swing behind the body.
Stretch - the moment right before leaping off the ground.
Jump - the highest position of the jump.
Contact - the moment the character touches the ground again (often a stretch).
Overshoot - the character continues traveling down and forward due to the leftover momentum.
Recovery - the final rest pose, no more forward momentum.
⏩ A jump is just like a bouncing ball! While the character is in the air, the forward travel needs to be linear (no slowing down or speeding up). The vertical travel will be faster on the way up and down, with a moment of hover in the top position.

Our main focus with the Animation Course will be character animation, and building a strong animation foundation, but we definitely have some camera lessons in our Blender Basics course (which is included inside of the Animation Course). The camera lessons are: - Camera: Basics - Camera: Aim - Camera: Rack Focus & Background Blur - Camera: Dolly Zoom - Camera: Handheld Feel & Camera Shake - Playblasting So basically a mini-course on cameras as well :)

Very interesting video. Can you please make a video on how to work with rigs? Most novice animators have trouble working with rigs, they don't fully understand how to work with bones. Many people complain that their characters are stretched and don't look believable. Haven't found this video on youtube yet. I would be extremely grateful if you shoot such a video, at the beginning there were also problems with this. Thank you very much for your work.

Hey Billa, I'm not sure if all of that could fit into one video. We have several lessons covering all of those points in our Animation Course, TOAnimate, but these are long videos with tons of visuals to help convey the lesson. It sounds like you're looking for a rig walkthrough talking about each controller, but also appeal when it comes to posing, as well as keeping the character on model. I'll keep your suggestion in mind for future videos.

How do people watch and do the course especially when they are around 16 hrs +? 1) Do you watch the video pause and then do what was shown in the video? 2)do you watch the video, pause take notes and screen grabs and then do what is shown in the video? 3) do you watch the entire video then do what was shown in the tutorial? What's the best way to learn and progress through these tutorials? i use number 2, but it takes me forever to get through any course, i actually failed the animation mentor program miserably

the third one. DO the 3rd one. Watch, Learn, Absorb then Practice. Go back whenever you are stuck. Look back again and again, this way you will learn. Pausing the video after every minute is nothing but copying the tutorial. We don't have to copy because we are not machines, we have to learn the tools then play with those tools to create something of our own. This way your creativity will increase rather than just roaming in one box.

😭 I know, I feel horrible about it. I genuinely don't have enough time in the day to make full fledge KZfaq videos, since majority of my time after work goes towards making lessons for TOAnimate. Once the courses are done, I'm planning on focusing big time on KZfaq again!

sir this $395 needs to pay at one go or there is some monthly payment program also. if can be monthly will be very happy and it will be a great help for many students who can't pay 395$ direct. pls waiting for your response. also, sir at the end of the program do you have some certificates for students to show to get jobs.

How many frames?
@BrianKouhi
@BrianKouhi 3 ай бұрын
As many as it takes to look good. Animation isn't a science, it's an alchemy. But you must animate in 24 fps for 3D animation typically.

For anyone wanting to know how to animate I have the answer for you. Two break down method Create your key poses, Then your antic depending on what you're trying to do. Then your first break down known as your ease out break down. Its the bd that shows how the character is moving out of the first key pose. Then do the ease in break down. The bd that shows how the character is moving into the final key pose. Then you create a neutral bd inbetween the ease out bd and ease in. Then fill in the inbetweens That's pretty much what he showed in the video. If you're using animbot, the closer the value to 100% with tween machine will make snappier movements the lower the value the smoother the action. I just saved a lot of people a lot of money lol
