My Pranayama arrives in 3 days off of Muirskate so this video was super clutch and helpful. I have yet to experience a Pantheon product but I gotta say just from the reviews/videos/feedback I’ve seen you guys are doing it right. A video like this seems small but it shows you actually care about the skating community and giving us a high quality product and experience. That shit is important and I look forward to supporting you guys as you grow 👍👍.

How is it?

My Pranayama is incoming and I was thinking of grinding off the Paris logos to make them flush?

We've seen others do the same, it'll get it nice and flush to the deck.

Absolutely loving my Prana! I set it up with Independent 149s and Caguamas, rides and turns like a charm. Do you get any wheelbite with the Paris / Caguama setup? I do get the smallest bit of wheelbite when at full turning angle. Usually doesn't happen if you're riding at any speed above 10 km/h but at super slow turns it might bite a tiny bit. Just wondered if this also happens with Paris trucks.

With the Paris it is wheelbite free based on some user experiences: www.reddit.com/r/longboarding/comments/cp4jt2/pantheon_cruisers_comparison_pranayama_trip_ember/ Maybe it can be with your Indys also if you change the bushings to harder ones (or if you change the wheels to the narrower Seismic Speed Vents)

No bite with Paris. You could attempt to put a speed ring on the inside of the bearing to create just a touch more space on the Indys. That 1-2mm can make a massive difference sometimes.

Pantheon Longboards Thanks for the tip! Already put on a speed ring on the inside - will try it out as soon as the rain stops over here!

Hey! I assembled my Pranayama like you did in the video and left the little gap for the inner bolts. But when i lean really deep into a turn, the inner bolts become kinda loose and i can hear the washers rattle. Had to tighten them more but now the gap is gone. Any ideas what i could have done wrong? :) And thank you very much for developing such awesome boards! Just got the Pranayama and the Trip and these are the best boards i have ever ridden!

Hey sorry we didn't see this comment and comment earlier. But if you're still struggling with this, note that the Paris trucks have a raised emblem on the baseplate, and it just take a little time for that to sort of nest into the deck, which is likely why you had to tighten them down. As they nest, that gap gets smaller and eventually disappears.

What kind of bushings do y'all reccomend one the paris 149mm trucks? Im like 6'4 175. Any help would be appreciated. The stock ones feel too soft.

Definitely recommend hitting up Riptide for bushings. They tend to be super responsive toward bushing recommendations. They have multiple shapes available. I'd go with a barrel/cone combo in just a harder urethane...maybe a 93 or 95a.

Thanks! I've learned to love the softer bushings to be honest. So flowy, I'll get new ones next season or in the winter. I'm in Canada so the seasons almost over 😔

Also, I dremeled the logo off the paris trucks. They fit so much nicer now.

The most common truck brands to me are Paris, Gullwing and Caliber...why would someone build a Board, where these don't fit? Am confused.
@PantheonLongboards4 жыл бұрын
These are Paris trucks. We built the Pranayama specifically around TKP/street trucks style geometry. If you want to set up with RKP Paris, Gullwing, or Caliber, you can do so on the Trip. It’s the same exact platform but optimized for a different setup. The reason we made the Pranayama is because of how much differently (and still super good) the street trucks ride for distance skating. Very flowy feeling.
