When I first heard this song it immediately took me back. I got Craig David's "7 Days" and Cherrelle's "Saturday Love" vibes. JK's vocals are insane!!! He never ceases to amaze me. But he always seems to surprise me. This was a favorite when I saw the teaser. He added an element of R&B to a Pop track. This was my first intro to Latto and I enjoyed her verse. Also, let's not leave out the star of one of my favorite K Dramas "My Name" actress Han So Hee. His album can't come fast enough...(after hearing that explicit version, that last sentence of mine I now sound dirty) Blame JK. 😂

I’m enjoying Seven keeping in mind how JK introduced it in his intro video - It’s a fun song… something to enjoy comfortably. It’s wasn’t more than that. That being said, I understand fans who expressed disappointment. One reason why BTS & all its members are loved so much is because a lot of their music is impactful, resonates, & creates emotional connections. I hope his coming album, whatever language it will be in, will show how he has grown as an artist & express more of who he really is.

I really loved your reaction, it was the best of all the ones I've seen, because you guys focused on what really matters, which is JK's talent and how he was able to project it in #SEVEN; almost all the other reactions revolve around JK not longer being innocent because of the theme, when he himself has said in interviews that it is a fun, relaxed love serenade and that he seeks to emphasize that when you are with the person you love, you want to ALWAYS be with them. Now, that there is a more intimate content in the lyrics... yes, but I prefer to focus on the fabulous work of JK. Imagine if this is his solo debut with a song, what will become of a full album. I read another prospective of this MV. To make it short, Han So Hee was battling several mental issues and JK will not leave her by herself and he was there throughout her breakdown and promised to love her no matter what. I got the full meaning as soon as I heard Latto talk about opening her mouth wide, etc., and I was (and am) grossed out. Apparently I'm the only one, though. First time I'm seriously disappointed by BTS. Thought they were above using sex to sell their music. And everybody gloating how JK is showing how he's all "grown up": For me, the grown-up thing would have been to remember that even kids are listening to their music and taking inspiration from it. I truly love all the BTS members, but this was a huge let-down for me.

Hi fam :-) Going through the comments last night, I noticed that someone was feeling some kind of (understandable) unease about the general topic of the video, in particular the "stalker" nature of JK behaviour (I use the quotation marks because they are really needed, in this specific case). So I realized that it was necessary to talk about a very important, fundamental I'd say, difference between Korean and Western culture, because it may create some huge misunderstanding of "translation". Korean culture regarding dating, getting married and the building of a new family is very unique. I'm Italian so I know a thing or two about family strictness, but, trust me, Korean culture brings everything on a whole new level! I'm talking in general here, there are exceptions of course, but in Korea, when you think you find your significant other half, the two partners start to live and act as one: not that their personality changes, but they "add" each unique personality to the other one so that they are no longer two individuals, they are a couple. Even if in western culture we use the word "couple", the meaning in Korean is very different: a couple are two people that do everything together as one, and I mean everything everything; except maybe bathroom time (but I wouldn't be surprised if they shared that too). They even go so far as to wear pairing clothing to show the world they are together and to call each other's parents mama and papa, after only a few weeks. So, if you read JK lyrics (the clean version) with this huge cultural difference in mind, you'll realize that the character is not a stalker: he's actually an ordinary Korean young man stubbornly in love, who is metaphorically ready to ridiculously fight to the death (literally) to get her back: and she's in love too, since Korean girls can be really good (read ruthless) at breaking up if needed but she willingly gives him the hand, at the end. Because, you know, after all he's JK :-D
