I was involved YEARS ago in a Vietnam war protest. We stood on the SIDE of the road with our signs. People drove by and either gave us a thumbs up, or the finger. We did not stop people from going about their business. People saw our message and that was all we were there to do.

Simple it solves nothing, I don't know what is wrong with these people. But if they truly care about the environment then they should get off their arses and help in environmental hazards, plant trees and save endangered animals.
