I do like how the show paired Johnny and Sam and Daniel and Miguel in this, but I do feel like Johnny and Sam wasn't developed enough. Daniel and Miguel have multiple scenes bonding together in training and outside of that. Johnny and Sam actually aren't a bad pair, but it's not given enough time to develop for the audience to see their connection, I do think that William Zabka and Mary Mouser do a wonderful job with the limited screen time they have, but the writers should have included a couple scenes of Sam and Johnny bonding as mentor and student.

Johnny was probably feeling the same way when he saw Daniel and Robby together and now it’s he’s thinking you trying to take Miguel too

Remember guys it's Cobra Kai, Kenny joined Cobra Kai. He's young and can be more easily influenced. The writers know exactly what they are doing with this show, and they are setting up Kenny's arc for seasons to come. Atleast that's what i got from it. I'm not going to spoil what happens, but i will say, this season is on another level. Season 5 is going to be insane!. There are still lots of big surprises coming.

Not to mention that him and Samantha going to an impressive academy, succeeding, and getting well-paid jobs means they'll be able to take care of themselves and each other and build a family together. Their family meal may not seem like a big deal now, but Miguel is doing everything he can to earn Daniel and Amanda's blessing in the long run. Also, let's not forget that Miguel was far more respectful on their dinner table than Kyler and Armand.

John Kreese’s Cobra Kai is about Training Soldiers to merciless assholes. Johnny Lawrence’s Cobra Kai fits what Cobra Kai was originally supposed to be, Cobra Kai was about building strength, learning to fight, and building confidence, and that was Johnny’s intentions.

Davion is absolutely right about needing both Offense and Defense because like Nathan said "Daniel didn't need both" well Daniel first encounter with Mike Barnes Daniel tried using defense didn't work for all we know if he used offense he could have maybe ended that etire beef right there (We know what Daniel could do with offense when he was training with Silver) Also if the best defense is "not to be there" then for example if it's 1v5 and your not in a position to avoid the fight at all No one is going to block and dodge the whole fight and hope it ends eventually that's just not how it works you have to use offense in your advantage What annoys me about Daniel is he makes it sound like using offense makes you a bad person but if you use defense then your the good person

Have you seen Daniel put a miyagi bandana on ANYONE? Even his own daughter? No. Johnny is protective of that relationship and to see Daniel going out of his way like that is suspicious and brings out the worst in Johnny (trust issues to say the least.) Man, the Miyagi/Larusso bias is real.😂 It isn't Cobra Kai's teachings or necessarily even John Kreese's philosophy that is the biggest problem, imo. It's more about the students that Kreese recruits. I was a Robby hater in the backs seasons but I love Robby so much in that season, then I was seeing your all reactions again and I had a different point of view to Robby, now I don't think that Robby was a bad character I actually like them in the other seasons, unless the kick to Miguel and season 3 he was a little childish but I actually like now season 1 and 2 Robby and I love season 4 Robby, ofc Robby sometimes is a asshole, for example still trying hurt Miguel and never apologizes for what he did to him but except of that Robby is phenomenal

Help me out here. Robby gets praised by some of you for almost killing someone, which, like Tory, shows absolutely no remorse for doing so yet Sam, who apologized for her role in all of it which was a drunken teenage kiss at a party. Sam's first time being drunk as well. It's Ok for Miguel to hit Sam when he's drunk but she can't tell Johnny facts about himself that we've known since the second we saw him in the beginning of the whole series when he woke up and drank warm beer! You guys are just for a reason to hate on Sam. Sam was the one that kept her out of jail! WTF else do you want from her? She's not perfect but stop the Samhating! Also a character arc indicates someone going from bad to good. Kreese was good and his captain in the military turned him into the evil guy he is today.

Sam is Daniel’s daughter. It doesn’t matter what happens to Sam. She will always have her dad. On the other hand Miguel and Johnny are not family that means Miguel could leave Johnny. Johnny is scared that Miguel would leave him. Robbie created issue with Sam. First he was with Sam because he feels like Miguel took he’s dad away from him. Then he’s feelings grew for Sam. Then Miguel brought back the item that Johnnys Cobra Kai stolen. Sam just made things worse from how she played it.
