They’re in the wrong for doing all of the flirting behind Pope’s back without first talking to him. They were flirting behind his back which is why catching them in this moment is shown his reaction to them liking each other. What happened before Pope and Ki got together doesn’t matter to Pope. Ki was his first and that means something to him. She was all over him then acted like she was disgusted by him. It literally meant more to Pope than Ki. Hey Pope did ask Kie if she was sure because what she wanted could change everything but she didn't listen and slept with him anyway. So from Pope's perspective, she used him.

And he wasn't really the one that jumped into it head first, she made the first move and I remember him asking her if she really wanted it.

I don't think kie was even attracted to him in the first place. The first time she found out about his feelings she rejected him, then it seemed like the only reason she got with him was cuz she felt bad. Then she tried to have a relationship with him it wasn't working, tried sleeping with him and even that did nothing. She actually has feelings for JJ and it's not hard to believe it clearly developed more while they were at the island.

My point was all the times Pope would put his arm around her or even tried to hold her hand after they kissed & Kie would shove him away like he was her little brother. Pope intentionally ignored those moments when Kie randomly wanted to hook up after they been drinking/partying. Issue with that is that Pope didn’t intend for Kie to like his closest friend; he wouldn’t care as much if it was with a guy outside of their friend group. Also he literally just walked in on them about to kiss; he doesn’t know if they’ve been doing stuff behind his back for a while at that point so a lot of emotions could have arises. Kie and JJ are both wrong in this scenario; they both have been flirting for a while now so they should have been talked to Pope about it

I do understand Popes feelings, but I still don't think JJ and Kie were in the wrong just because they didn't intend for the moment to happen. i’m saying! i legit can’t understand how some people blame kiara and claim she’s homie hoping when she didn’t even pursue neither of them, the only one she’s pursuing because she actually wants to is jj. she basically friendzoned john b when he kissed her, she rejected pope when he confessed to her but then she tried giving him a chance bc she felt bad and bc of outside pressure even though it was always clear she wasn’t into him the way he was. she realized it wasn’t going to work so she cut it off and they both agreed to be friends. she was never committed to him, ever. they hooked up one night and that was it. she doesn’t owe him anything. i feel like they’re just seeing pope’s pov and it’s kind of annoying. obviously i feel bad for pope, it’s gonna hurt but it’s also clear that they’re setting up cleo and pope so he’s gonna move on sooner or later. plus jj talked to pope about what happened, i really don’t understand why they want jj and kie to talk “in advance” to pope when this is actually the first time that something happened between jj and kie. like why would they talk to pope when neither of them even acknowledged that they were starting to have feelings for each other?

@@kingrichard8188 she never liked john b or pope and she never had anything with john b, THEY (pope, jj, john b) thought she liked john b bc she would worry about him and give him a kiss on the cheek etc. so they thought she was into him… but turns out she wasn’t, they were just reading too much into it. if she liked him why would she reject him and friendzone him? when jj and pope asked about what was going on between him and kie john b said she gave him the heisman (basically, she rejected him). the whole john b x kiara thing was basically the boys thinking she had a crush on him when she actually didn’t. then, pope confessed to her and she rejected him right away. pope got petty about it and she ended up feeling bad about it and everyone around her was like “pope’s such a great guy” etc. so she tried to give him a chance but it was always very clear that they’d never work, even pope talked to jj about how they weren’t playing the same game so he was kind of aware. they ended up hooking up one night after a party, she kind of regretted it and after that she friendzoned him and he agreed to them putting what happened past them and be just friends. i personally hated that the writers made them sleep together bc it was just unnecessary and random, there was never chemistry between them and that storyline didn’t add much to the characters but it’s whatever, we moved on from that. the point is she doesn’t owe anything to either of them, she was never in a relationship with any of them. the only one she had a fling with was pope and it was basically for a night… so it’s weird how you’re assuming she’s gonna break jj’s heart when this is actually the first time she’s falling in love with someone and she is the one chasing him. i mean did you watch s3? it was basically jj pushing her away and being mean to her (understandable bc of his past and all, but he still hurt kie) while kie was still being understanding and patient with him.

I really don’t see what you would’ve wanted them to do ?? It would’ve been wrong if jj and kie got into a relationship, didn’t tell pope and pope caugh them almost kissing but that’s not what it happened. At this moment jj didn’t even know if kie reciprocated his feelings and same for kie, this is the first moment they had where both of them could see that there was something more than just a friendship between them and unfortunately pope saw that.
