fun fact: most netflix animes are not actually made by netflix, they buy the anime from the owners to stream on their service. For example, this anime (Kakegurui) caught the attention of Netflix and decided to buy it from Mappa (the owners responsible for Kakegurui)

i've been saying this for years, ALL Japanese voice acting is top tier. they are absolute beasts at it, they go to school for years and train and dedicate their entire lives to it. the only reason i can't stand dubs is because i don't feel that power and range that these people give. it's always so flat and the tones are predictable and don't excite/terrify me one bit.

For anyone curious what the show is like, it's really simple, EVERYONE in it is a yandere for gambling, and the plot is about a bunch of said batshit crazy gambling yandere girls trying to cheat everyone to be more powerful and fuck over other people to make them lower than they are, and if they ARE lower than they are, treat them like crap and make sure they sink lower down the food chain. And then the main character yandere comes in and catches all the ways other people cheat and slaps them up side the head with the knowledge. Do note that this isn't some BS like "she always wins because plot armor" she does indeed lose but every moment not filled with insanity and crazy people is awesome!

Comments like these irk me the hell out. Kid, do you understand how animation works? Budgeting, company finances, and production cost time, money, and a lot of hands on labor that can often take a very long time to finalize and perfect. Polishing just 10 minutes of a 30 minute episode can take months to complete, voice actors, and dialogue , and pre planning are also huge. People think that animating is as easy as sitting on a computer an animating characters with a fancy animation program,but that's just not the case. The higher the quality and detail of the anime too, the longer it will take. That's why shonen anime like Naruto were faster paced, the detail and art style were easier to animate. The list goes on. Be patient and appreciate the work for what it is.

No, Netflix pays smaller companies through contracts, they often hire a company to do the animation for them and through level work they are then labeled as a Netflix original. Netflix still sets budgets, and sets limits, that's why its such a large company and rich. So technically the animators for this anime ARE a small team powered by Netflix.

I really wish you would simulcast this anime. By the time you release it in the states you literally will have a low view rate because if someone really wants to see it, they will use any means to do so. Piracy is killing the anime you release.

you've watched it on a illegal site which fan subs anime. I don't really care though if people pirate this show because it's in a Netflix jail til 2018. "Only on Netflix" means that it's only available legally available on Netflix and won't be released til 2018 worldwide. Welp RIP Netflix and welcome illegal sites. XD
