This is One of the best jabs in ufc. No wind up no feint nothing. Also equally effective in both the stances. Usman is on another level.

Why do wrestlers have such beautiful jabs? like Khabib, Usman, Colby etc they all have a fantastic jab
@azretah17062 жыл бұрын
Why do they have a good jab? Because they train it. Why do they train it? It keeps the hands up. Why should the hands be up and not down? Makes defending takedowns more difficult.

I hope he learns more stuff a jab ca only take you so far but using only jabs becomes predictable and if his opponent figures out how to deal with the jab he will be in trouble unless he his opponent have bod ground game and takedown defense.
@vishnu24072 жыл бұрын
It works well in MMA because people are prone to throw looping punches for some reason. A good basis in boxing fundamentals can take you a long way
@davidlee31072 жыл бұрын
I see others have corrected you which is good. A jab is too quick, especially usmans, and even if it misses theres always a followup after a jab available

jabs have been utilized in boxing for lord knows how long for a reason, and a well placed jab to this day truly has not become predictable.
