Камский Автомобильный Завод - КАМАЗ, romanized: Kamskiy Avtomobilny Zavod, lit. 'Kama Automobile Plant') is a Russian brand of trucks and engines manufacturer located in Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia. It is famous for its cab over trucks. KAMAZ is a portmanteau which stands for a factory on the Kama River.
KAMAZ was founded in 1969. Today, heavy duty models are exported to many areas of the world including the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa. KAMAZ is the largest truck producer in Russia and the CIS with its factory producing 43,000 trucks a year
In 1969, the Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the USSR Council of Ministers was approved which envisaged construction of a complex of heavy duty truck production plants. Around 70 potential sites to locate the facilities were investigated. Choice went in favor of Naberezhnye Chelny, then a small town on the Kama River. Naberezhnye Chelny was located in the center of the former Soviet Union. The navigable rivers - the Kama River and the Volga River - as well as proximity of the railway line, were central to meeting the logistical needs of the construction site for materials and equipment. Going forward, the location would also allow for the easy shipping of ready-made trucks to customers. The fact that the huge construction company "KamGESenergostroy" existed in the region allowed construction of plant buildings and apartment blocks for prospective KAMAZ employees to be completed.
Workers and engineers, representing more than 70 ethnicities, converged on Naberezhnye Chelny to fuse into a "melting pot" of the construction project personnel. Orders placed by KAMAZ to procure construction materials and equipment were filled by all the ministries and departments, a total of over 2,000 enterprises. Over 100,000 personnel were employed at the construction site itself.

In my young days it was so much easy. When your cart lost power you had only few options: 1. Feed and water the ox because it might be hungry or thirsty. 2. Give him break because it might be that is too old and has no power. 3. check his hooves because they might be infected. That was all and yet we lifted this world to the unprecedented technical level, and yet you can't eat your engine when starving but you can easily and happily eat your ox when it get useless. Good old times.

Много по сравнению с кем? Вон, наши начали АБС делать для ВАЗов, так оказывается что у них степень ручного труда меньше, чем у бывшей Siemens, которая до санкций делала АБС.

Ух прям сердце италянского гипер кара судя по тому что в Иркутск новому на тот год губернатору(говорили же что он бюджеты подсасывать будет ещё при выборной компании так же как и на должности бывшего регионалного в погонах мчс как денги выделенные на спасение Байкала от назревающей катастрофы связанной с отходами бцбка распихал по невероятно фектив те важным проектам с добавнищей стоймостью) 3 камаза для камунальшиков по тройной в отличии от рыночной рощничной б..дь цены некая левая фирма поставила. 3 вместо 9 те по цене заводского гиперкара за еденицу, осенью 20го года. А регионалный новостной канал федералного подчинения который озвучил такую благую весть ютюб в прошлом году удалил именно его почиму то, канал редактор которого сковиднулся после того сюжета на поминки ему целый спектр техники комуналшикам поставили цену транша в этот раз не озвучили.

Great question. It is imho deeply rooted in type of society and what environment makes for that type a comfortable habitat. Brightness and cleanness is a product of deeper processes. Ammount of energy is certanly can not be a reason in Russia.

Previously, it was easier to buy industrial equipment in Western countries. Now Russian manufacturers are hard at work creating their own equipment, or buying it in China instead of the West.

Russia used to sell and still does to an extent huge amounts of Energy to Europe, so when the respective Trade Ministers are negotiating the Trade deal , Russia has to buy European Goods or the Respective Countries Goods or Services to minimise the Trade Gap in Finance.

Экономический кризис 1991 года нанес большой ущерб тяжелой промышленности России. Бывшие крупные станкостроительные предприятия обанкротились. Станки также производятся в Турции. Однако иногда зарубежные товары оказываются лучше.Как ткацкие станки, сделанные в Тайване

@@karlharrison2449 : I wasn't commenting on the effect of sanctions generally, I was commenting that the particular factory shown in this video is likely to be having problems, due to its equipment being imported. However, I don't doubt that Russia will AFTER some time be strengthened by the sanctions - history shows that's what long term sanctions do - for example the 1960's and 1970's sanctions against South Africa boosted their industry and caused them to make gasoline from coal. And South Africa is a much smaller country than Russia. However, in the short term it can make things difficult. It takes years to build up technical skills and supply chains to make things that used to be imported. You see this in the Russian airline industry, which is now flying aircraft with parts cannabalized from aircraft taken out of service. Everyone expected the Russian airforce to actively support their ground troops in the Ukraine. That's what they were trained to do after the reforms post Chechnya. However this is not happening much, and one presumes that is because they need to conserve flying hours due to parts shortages until they get their own factories on line. We saw that Russia sent a lot of tanks to Ukraine out of long term storage. These tanks suffered a lot of breakdowns (part of the reason why the initial invasion failed is because tank radios failed, so commanders could not direct their tanks). Russia has learnt from that and has since been sending its' stored tanks back to the factory for overhaul/refurbishment. This is going much slower than Putin and his top brass wanted - again parts supply appears to be the problem. For example they had been importing night gun sights from France. I also agree that sanctions bite the country imposing them as well (eg USA) because they aren't selling what they formerly were selling. But that is not a concern to the factory in this video.

Kamaz V8 is one of the most unreliable engines, thats why they are now using modern 12 litre I6 from Liebherr/Deutz that is built in Russia by Kamaz.

That's a lie. The Kamaz-740 is a very reliable engine. 3,000,000 engines were produced for 2020. Imported engines are produced by Kamaz in parallel and do not displace each other.

Форсировка упадёт и эластичность хуже под нагрузкой. По надёжности ничего не выиграешь, потому что это большой двигатель. Детали достаточно крупные для хорошей надёжности и ресурса.

Тут я смотрю иностранцы говном поливают камаз что вот станки все импортные немецкие японские! Да по качеству камазу гордиться особо нечем, но и вы бы не открывали свой рот, СССР и потом Россия производит все сама в одной стране авиация самолёты вертолёты автомобили грузовые легковые, космос, ядерные электррстанции. Посмотрите на своих гигантов они объеденяются с другими заводами из других стран что бы не обонкротиться и вести новые проэкты не в убыток разделяя расходы, германия производит самолёты полного цикла? А франция или англия? Нечего вы сами не можете сделать !!! Это факт. А производители станков и оборудования не за счёт Российского спроса в том числе живут? И при этом вы поступили с новыми санкциями как пидары конченные, сняв все с гарантии и завернув поставки запчастей. Лет 8 назад я работал в сфере продаж сварочного оборудования, так вот на выставке в германии сами немцы говорили что больше всего сварочного оборудования на тот момент поставлялось в Россию, они не за счёт спроса из РФ живут в том числе? Или Вы думаете что в России не способны сделать своё ? Все это уже делается и выделяется на это деньги, изночально было проще и дешевое купить готовое.
