3 жыл бұрынOmg who else was rooting for these two during the 1st two episodes . They were so cute!! Episode 3 toke a turn for the worst and had my doubts as far as if I’m going to ship them or not . Team Joey all the way! Those boys were so wrong and I tried to not include those parts in my video but I feel like Tim should have tried to stop them and not just sit there and then afterwards had the nerve to ask Joey if she was okay? Like bro. Anyways I’m happy that he at least admitted that what the other two boys did was wrong and that he literally just sat there and let it happen. I don’t know for me to ship these two again like I did in the 1st few episodes Tim is really going to have to apologize and I hope Joey makes him pay or gives him the silent treatment for awhile atleast. Anyways not the best but I hope you all enjoy the video!

O also really apreciaye how realistic this show is. Not everyone really knows each other. There are different clicks that over lap with a few people. They don't just throw people into relationships willy nilly. Its alot more complex complicated. There's different home situations. And real political and social situations . Its not sensored but raw. Like I could honestly imagine this kind of stuff happening at my own school and in my own life

honestly , i feel like there’s much more to this story. we never saw tim’s pov of ANYTHING. yes what he did was wrong and i can see that but i feel like there’s so much more to this than what we’re seeing. i want her and tim to be together , i believe that he’s good for her even though what happened was disgusting and not right in any way , he feels terrible and you can tell it’s eating him alive. he was put in a hard position not knowing what side to choose even though the morally correct one was obvious , but again he’s a teenager , put yourself in his shoes and try to understand the position he’s in and not knowing what to do. think about you being a teenager now , sometimes you don’t know what side to choose , even though you know you should want what’s right , sometimes that’s not always the case and you as a person and while you grow you learn from that and you grow as and individual. i think there’s more than what we see going on w tim and going on through his head. i’m rooting for them

the way I interpreted the whole thing was that Tim was too high to realize what was happening in the car, and then as the days went by and after Joey spoke up, he was confused, but chose to take his friends side. And then, at the end under the bridge, it felt like maybe after talking to Joey, he finally came to the realization of what happened and believed Joey... Idk.. If my interpretation matches what happened and if that's how they play it out in S2, then I definitely think that Tim is redeemable, given that he does the right thing and takes Joey's side... On the other hand, if he knew it when the assault was happening (like he understood that it wasn't consensual) and chose not to stop it, then Idk if he's redeemable in my eyes after that :'(

I feel like at the time he was way under the influence to stop it because he was zoning in and out but then after that he slowly was realizing what happend but was in denial and you could literally see the guilt on his face but he kept quiet because he was questioning if his friends would really do that and he slowly came to the realization of what they did and it was messed up. We know this because Tim admits to it in the park he admitted to watching and understanding what was going on and doing nothing about it. I personally liked Tim before everything went down but I don’t think romanticizing that type of shit is a good idea. I hope he gets a redemption arc in s2 but I don’t think him and Joey should end up together. I just think it’s harmful to be romanticizing shit like this. I agree the their chemistry is unmatched but I j don’t like the idea of it. Also it’s not j his actions during that but also what he did afterwards witch was NOTHING. He saw that Joey wasn’t right in the head, he saw that Joey was loosing hair, and j didn’t look mentally sane. And not once did he pull her aside/ try to talk to her privately and help her. My opinion: So i know what Tim did was super super bad but in the last few minutes of the last episode, with the last 2 scenes of him it does really look like he regretted not doing something. I think he is gonna start going down a dark path and hopefully that leads to him confessing to the police what actually happened and luke and George get what they deserve.

I love this show! The feeling of those are my friends, of believing that you chose those people and that they are trustworthy. THINKING that they are the only ones who support you and love you, you choose your family, they are your family. And in the next second, something breaks and you realize they're not your family, they're not your friends, you choose wrong and you can't fix it anymore. You choose them to protect you and they broke you. Other thing: The fact that Joey had to pay for the cab where she was raped, that's just... Devastating. U can see through her eyes the pain she was feeling. Joey felt bad because they were her friends and she loved them, she couldn't hate them at first instance because they were her "family". That was even more difficult for her. And i was so fucking proud in the last scene, i was proud because i was feeling the though of: They are not going to take this away from me. The freedom to be her, to be able to move, to know that they did not immobilize her soul. They didn't immobilize her soul. That scene was just perfect.

My opinion: I don't really like Joey bc she seemed like a "pick me" girl but in a different font. She Basically acted like she was different and misunderstood in the first few episodes. Then she had the cab thingy happen. I think that it was in fact rape but she lied and said she wasn't leading them on and that didn't sit right with me. She got on their lap, kissed them etc.

Look, in my opinion, Tim was passed out ngl and heartbroken/really in a bad mood when they were in the car. In his perspective, he didn’t want to do anything with Joey because as you probably saw, Joey liked to tease/lead people on. (The kissing scene at the theatres and at the basketball place). He got fed up and literally couldn’t think straight, like, at all. Tim was WASTED and you guys shouldn’t be blaming only him because they were ALL at fault. I’m only at ep 4 btw so I might not see the full picture..

tim fucked up real fucking bad, but him finally speaking out and finally breaking, telling the truth, just shows he cares about joey and is never gonna hurt her like that again. i'm not saying she should forgive him straight away but he definitely has alot of potential for character development in future seasons. its such a tricky situation, to the point that i feel sick ever thinking what i would do in that situation. i would have no idea how to move on ever or how to get resolved but yeah god so tricky, i hope joey finds peace and happiness in the next season if there is a next one.

Netflix need to hurry up and confirm a season 2. I need to see Joey thriving and happy. I'd like to see more of Tim's story. I really loved them together at first. Then the assault happened and it was awful, but we never see it from his point of view, or fully get to see his emotions. Still shitty that he did nothing though. I'm not against his character growing and hopefully redeeming himself.
