Rapper Kanye West has tweeted out that he is deeply in debt, and he wants Mark Zuckerberg to bail him out. He also said that he won’t attend the Grammy’s unless he wins Album of the Year. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian hosts of The Young Turks discuss.

If you believe the celebrated rapper, he owes a serious chunk of change: before hitting the Saturday Night Live stage over the weekend, he tweeted that he's carrying $53 million in debt. If he wasn't trying to be a clown for our own entertainment, he could've easily contacted zuck himself, discussed what needed to be discussed and have an actual plan or strategy set out that would show that the investment in him would be wise. The fact that the most popular viral phrases, with some auto tuning and a beat can be turned into what 100% of rap sounds like within minutes in any sound augmentation program, pretty much means actual music, in the terms you would place Kanye, is so elementary, so trivial in concept, that you can open your mouth, slap pans together and call it an album.

Revelian1982 ugh. if you're one of those ,no one will ever top Pac and BIG, people, we can stop right now and not go further. MBDTF tops All Eyez On Me NO DOUBT. there's no question about it. I would go as far as to say Late Registration and Yeezus do too, but thats just personal taste. I love Pac. but he was not anywhere near as complete an artist as Ye is. If you're one of those people that sees Kanyes tabloid mishaps and disregards his music as a result (Im not saying you are, but IF you are) please do yourself a favor and set aside your personal hate for the GUY, because you're missing out on some FANTASTIC music.

Look People, there is a reason why 99% of musicians disappear after a few big hits. It is very simple. Rap, Hip-Hop, Country, Pop, Heavy metal, ----- all the same---- When you are struggling, and poor, and living in ratty hotels, and eating bologna sandwiches--- you have "The Hunger"-- you write beautiful shit, that comes from the heart, that everyone can identify with, because we all want to be something more...... Then-- when they "Make it" and start riding in Limo's, and private jets, and banging all kinds of beautiful women, living in a mansion, etc... They forget all about that struggle, and that desire to do and be their best. They just crank out garbage, selling "Their Name", and not the new music... That's why record companies own the mansions and jets... They know, most of the time, the stars will just be there temporarily......

I did some research on the 53 mil debt and it sounds like his "Pastelle" flopped clothing line cost him 30 million in debt. The rest well his issue right. My thought is sell his assets, absorb the debt and move on. Shame. We all lose money. If he is the "Disney" anything, I am selling Minnie and Mickey. There is no rhyme or reason in this guy. Feed the homeless and build a new school in Africa. This here is pure manure and stupidity. Do not insult others who too had to work for it. Investment in your projects and dreams is one thing. Paying your debt is another. Your assets should outweigh the debt and thus investors and or banks should be the advisers. Just a thought...(I am not into wrap music and the f and s.hit words and the cursing do not make it into my household as in your songs.
