THE GRAND FINALE! (2 OF 3) on the 8 acre investment property, aka 8 acre Picker's paradise! Another Big UPDATE today, but first some housekeeping items: First, here is the link to check out the ABI attachments Skid steer implement, tractor implement or ATV/UTV Implement:
www.abiattachments.com/produc...
Join me today for THE GRAND FINALE SERIES PART 2 OF 3 on the 'Dismantling new 8 acre picker's paradise land investment.' In today's episode I will be using the Bobcat T650 CTL skid steer and the ABI attachments SR3 grading implement to do a final grading of the Pond dam, as well as several other areas of this property. We'll also take a BEFORE look at this pond dam from 3 weeks ago as I was clearing the trees off of it with my Bobcat e42 mini excavator. Also, in this episode I will do a 3RD pass with the SR3 on the pond dam so you can really see what kind of a dirt grade this thing will do in 3 passes! We are grading today with the SR3, so you can get a real good sense of just how far we've come with this 8 acre investment property, Southern Illinois picker's paradise! And stay tuned for the last few segments of this awesome DIY series, You definitely won't want to miss the last few!! LOL. Today the SR3 will be tackling tree root systems, trash, lumber, garbage and more, and you'll get a chance to see how it not only grades the dirt, but piles up the trash so you can easily push it to the side with the SR3 as well. Thanks for joining us, and please, if you enjoy this kind of content, Like and Share it for us to help us grow our audience and Kapper team here on our channel, we'd greatly appreciate that! Also consider subscribing to follow not only this property investment project, but all of our Kioti tractor projects, Bobcat mini excavator projects, Bobcat T650 CTL skid steer projects, our Illinois and Kentucky land management projects, food plots, duck ponds, watering holes, deer land management wildlife habitat improvement projects, wildlife conservation projects, our Kentucky farmhouse rehab project, Mrs. Kapper's rustic DIY barn wood and furniture projects, her DIY rustic farmhouse decor and much more country living adventure! Thank you. Kapper Outdoors (with Curtis Rogers), living the dream, one acre at a time.

I know you guys have different priorities than I imagine for that property. I would finish it up by: 1. hire some day labor to pick up all the trash and tires that still remain in and about that lot 2. lop off all the roots, sticks, and sapling remnants sticking up out of the ground 3. finish burning all the piles of roots, branches, and stumps you've pushed aside. 4. pull all the trees and brush and piles of your raking residue along the front of the property and throw it in the burn pile. 5. tear down that house! It's more a hazard and eyesore than any of the mobile homes were.

That would all be great for sure if cost was never an issue! :)

Have to agree with Steve. You have pushed piles of debris all over the place which will end up being a detraction to any prospective buyer. Should have centralized all of the debris and either burnt it or sucked up the cost for one last dumpster.

😨😨😨You almost poked me in the eye with the end of the ram.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Good SR3 action. It is to bad that it plugs up sort of quick but you have a lot of stuff there. I do not understand why but I love watching the progress that you made. You even inspired me to do some cleaning on my yard.

If I may give some advice as I've never seen your content before. As an operator myself, I can tell you that raking and breaking up that soil is great but you need a shovel on that cat to cut down the high spots in the land and use that material to fill in your low spots to level it off properly.
@kapperoutdoors
@kapperoutdoors 3 жыл бұрын
No disrespect intended, and I always take feedback into consideration. But you cannot see it but that piece of equipment has a front drag bar that scrapes high spots and fills low spots.(there are 3 different things that together really are made to level ground) Right now is it is in float mode but you can also lock it down firmly like a box blade. If you look at the third pass compared to the first pass you'll see it has leveled it out quite a bit. Although not perfect, it was not meant to be that perfect like a lawn. Thanks man hope you stick around some more, have a good one

Well in his defense I was manually looking back, and the back up cam does not show where your tracks are so it does not really work that well! And I was right on the edge! But I got the wide tracks for times like this, they help a lot. Thanks
