BM and J.seph are "dead" to represent how the relationship is killing them with how they are unhappy,hurting and basically numb (which is showed by how they weren't moving throughout the video). if you read over their lyrics you can see how they described the relationship being painful and dangerous but they cannot escape. In the mv Somin and jiwoo are trying to get the boys attention and being clingy. They are the ones clinging onto the relationship despite how toxic it has become, preventing they're lovers from escaping. BM and J.Seph are "dead" emotionally in the relationship but Somin and Jiwoo won't let them go.
