I don’t see ppl like this as Karen’s . I see a Karen as someone who comes over to you poking there nose in and telling you your doing wrong or can’t do something in a irate manner. This lady is in her job and saying what she believes to be true in a calm way.

She was very nice, and given her hand gestures quite uncomfortable and maybe a bit nervous. But she kindly stuck with what she thought was true. Auditors went too far calling her a Karen. Bit out of order dealing with train station staff like this...they already get enough abuse from the shitty public

I have taken photos of trains at Northern stations and there have never been any problems. Sometimes I ask the staff and advise them that I will be on the station taking photos of trains and I have always been left to go on my merry way to take photos. This ticket office member was just trying to be a Karen as some of the staff think they have swallowed the Northern rulebook. Photography is allowed at UK rail stations providing you don't use a flash as that can distract the train driver and could cause an accident. There have been cases where I have used the flash from my camera but when that has been the case I have always told the train driver that I will be using the flash on my camera and that is fine with the driver if the locomotive or train is at a terminus station.

They tell you can't take pictures, but you already have!
