@@700composer wow why do you say such thing like that to those who reject christ. Christ didn't show much for them to follow so it should be fine like u care anyway. Just look at all those wealthy preacher they no k n their members are confuse who to help they probably feel quit giving to the poor and not give to the false preacher who teaching didn't help much except they can get confused slip n fall.This why I wish I never listen to the man his mom to go to church because they only know how to tell people to go to church but do they care much. Who those people who listen to preaching almost all week night and day but they don't even know how to act in love in needy time.I think i not going to step in church anymore.

You are very right when you say many preachers take advantage of their congregation I was fortunate to find a loving and very much giving church. We help over 4 missionaries and many local people who need help. Our Pastor does not take the money we give him, he gives it back to the offering. We do not consider our self to be Holier then those who don't attend church, we know we are not; that is why we go. We support each other, and help one another who need help; that is what a church does. Many good people do not go to church; but I would pray that they would read and study scripture, and continue to follow living the way Jesus would want us to. I did, and it changed my life much to my benefit..

Amen! That verse alone keeps me going. Even Satan trembles when he hears the name JESUS. Look at people today when they hear his name they go crazy mad.The devil is only strong when you open your mouths,and do bad things, but thank God he knows before you think it. There are many scary scenarios. The one that says "...wide is the path to destruction, and MANY there be that find it. Narrow is the path to salvation, and FEW there be that find it." That includes many professed Christian's.

@@holliday0191 No, the devil is far more vicious towards those who sincerely obey God. Those doing evil don't bother him at all. He already has them. Professed Christian's need to ask themselves if the devil has any reason to persecute/bother them. If not, they'd better check what they believe.

One said Jesus showed her a bunch of pastors burning hell for stealing his money and another profit said Jesus showed her a pastor in hell reliving his sins by walking around handing people who had plenty of money the Bible. The pastor didn't care about the poor and ran them off. Jesus wanted those poor people be saved and share the gospel. Jesus is NOT a respecter of persons. Another person said Jesus showed her in a dream a highway of Christians singing in church while walking on the highway to hell. They where worshipping God with singing lips not a submitted heart. We are called to be a LIVING SACRIFICE. We are to give up our life for God...all our selfish desires are to be replaced with God's plan for our life. Jesus said not my will but Your will be done. We are to model ourselves after Jesus not the world.

I think it takes us really knowing God and His ways and His character to come to this understanding. Yes. The only way to really do it (no matter how we would have otherwise felt, behaved, been tempted to or bad habits, etc. ) is to walk in the Spirit. Romans 8, Galatians etc. . Only by "practicing the presence of God" , focusing on Him and pur relationship with Him, growing in that and our knowledge of Him, by our thoughts, prayers incl. listening for Him which incl. verses He brings to mind, being in His word, and in fellowship with other Christians. Even then we will be far from perfect, AND what doesn't seem like love to an onlooker or person on the receiving end, sometimes actually is, or isn't NOT love. For ex., refusing to continue to enable a loved one with an abuse problem of some kind. Drawing boundaries can mean having to avoid someone (which Paul writes about the necessity of doing in various cases) which can appear to be an issue of unforgiveness or lack of love, to an onlooker, but really, the person truly loves them and their heart is breaking. They'd done all they could and more, put up with more than they maybe even should have for years, and now just have to avoid them, to stop them from using the relationship as an enablement and imagined justification and support in their continued mistreatmemt of any kind towards others. Life is messy. Never assume. We all need to not judge each other, do the best we can to live out our faith and rejoice in God's grace, giving grace to each other. Not that you're not, jus' sayin' for anyone's sake who may read this.

It is always a blessing to see Kathie Lee Gifford and to hear her speak about the Lord! I am so proud of her, for the time she has taken to learn so much, to improve her understanding and to pass it along to other people! I pray that more born again believers in the entertainment industry and every public forum, will follow suit, proudly publicly declaring the Truth of God's Word, encouraging others to come to the saving knowledge God's Word, too!

Most professed Christian's need to ask themselves if the devil has any reason to bother/persecute them. If not, they'd better check their beliefs. Everyone in Scripture had horrific lives as they followed and obeyed God. And I don't mean the life problems that we all encounter. They were not popular and rolling in money. The majority of the religious today are prosperity gospel followers. In other words, those are stories that don't apply to them. The Jesus Kathie Lee talks about isn't the One I see in the Bible and my life. In my opinion and my understanding of Scripture, she has what's referred to there as "...a form of godliness..." And a lifestyle that is a cultural manifestation of that. Looks good, sounds good, etc. In other words, a cultural lifestyle religion. Totally in contrast to what Scripture actually says in its entirety about true godliness. It also amazes me how people latch on to celebrity religious proselytizing, and know virtually nothing of what God's Word actually says...and requirements of those who profess His name. That will cost them on judgement day. God will not be asking what Billy Graham, Kathie Lee etc. told them. He will ask if we bothered to read and study ALL of what He says, for ourselves, and obeyed it even if it costs us everything; something I dare say Kathie Lee doesn't want God to require of her. And I do mean deep down where only God sees. Remember, God doesn't force the will...and the devil in disguise is more than happy to dole out the popularity and rewards. Scripture also says he "masquerades as an angel of light." We need to beware of where the goodies are coming from.

Not afraid and I am actually happy to mention Him in everything I do and to everyone that I talk and write to. Talking about Jesus is a good thing and we should ddo it if we have Him on our hearts!

One thing I noticed with this interview the language was what use to be called clean. I listened to a Mel Robbins interview, I don't know how many times they used the F word. Sad. What a difference Christian values make.

Wow, what Kathy says about us each being so unique by God's design is so rarely realized or spoken of...like her I always felt this to be such a despised reality, and in a sense had to go it alone in order to resist soul-deadening uniformity in groups and societies...secular or religious. God be blessed! Prayer for these two, and poor poor Howard Stern too.
