I just found myself grinning like I was part of the homecoming!😆No place like home Katie.By the way, you were only 3 hours away from my home when you were in Tacoma. I used to spend a lot of time in Seattle and that area. ❤️🇨🇦

Glad you made it back safely, Katie! I was in Nevada from May 3 to 19, but just staying with family in Reno. Had to go through security twice at the airport on the way back home because someone had entered my traveling companion's birthday as mine, so my ID didn't match the information on file. One thing I wouldn't have had to worry about had I gone by motor home!

So glad you're home Miss Katie! Can't wait to see all those rocks inside and hear about your adventures. The rocks stored on a bus / motorhome remind me of the movie "The Long Long Trailer" with Lucille Ball. She picks up rocks all over the place on her honeymoon. It's a classic. 🌈🌈

What a marvelous adventure, Katie! I would have been eating the green beans out of the pot, too. Nobody outside of Appalachia knows how to cook green beans. Your descriptions remind me of my first trip out west. A girlfriend and I took off as soon as school was out (we taught) and were gone for a month. It ignited my wanderlust, and I’ve never looked back. May your life be full of marvelous travels.

I dobt know whether to laugh for joy or cry for thanks .... you made it home safe Katie. what great fun adventurous friends Donna and her husband are. you said before yall knew it you'd dug a hole waist deep. I bet it was hot too. you rest and eat and sleep then go make us beautiful things. I will be watching etsy to see what you add to display. I'm excited. my blue ring never leaves my hand. Katie, who would have guessed that in 1956 I gathered rocks from the petrified forest and the painted desert, then brought them back to West Virginia, then two decades later the rocks ended up in Winchester, Virginia. Now I am in Florida listening to a Lady in North Carolina who has done the same thing. Amazing how God works in the lives of people. Welcome home, I am looking forward to a video to see what the rocks become. God bless.😃⛏💎

When the gentleman was unloading the rocks out of that camper I started laughing because all I could think about was that old movie with Desi arnaz and Lucille Ball called "The Long Long trailer" and they went on a trip out west and she collected a bunch of rocks and had so many rocks in the trailer that couldn't hardly pull up those hills. It cracked me up seeing all those rocks.

So fun to hear about your great adventure. Being from Oregon, I loved hearing about my home state and especially the Prineville/Madras area where my husband grew up. So many of the towns you mention in your travels ,we have also visited. Coming "home" from travels is the best feeling in the world and having a welcoming family couldn't be sweeter. Happy times cutting your new found rocks.

You will have to make a video of it when, you can and, feed us some information on them and, tell us the stories of your travels, I am anxious to see.
